Muskaan's POV: The present time.......
"What the heck do you mean by 'I have a plan!' Virat, have you seriously lost it? How can you arrange a wedding in 2 months!" Arya yelled.
"Virat! What are you saying! We have sooooo many things to take care of when we're planning a wedding, and you're saying that two months are enough?" Shagun whined.
What the hell does Virat think of himself? He can't possibly arrange a wedding in 2 months.
"Viru darling, care to explain?" Akash asked in a cheesy tone.
"Okay so, the date in December was the...." Virat asked the priest.
"The 5th of December would be an auspicious date" The priest answered.
"Alright, the 5th of December. So now I need all of you to have a seat, and one by one list the things required in a wedding." Virat said.
"What? Virat!" Ishita di said.
"Trust me ben (sister).Okay so what's the first event?" Virat asked
"Engagement?" Akash said.
"Okay, mummy, can we just do the engagement at our house?" Virat asked.
"That's a possibility. I mean, we don't need to invite too many people for the engagement." Veena auntie said.
"Okay so we have a venue for the engagement, and Shagun and I can get the rings like today evening...not a problem. See we're done the engagement planning!" Virat said.
"Really? Whose gonna decorate the house? Tera baap? (Your father?)" Bhavesh uncle asked.
"I don't mind." Virat answered which earned him a glare from his dad.
"I'm joking! Chill! Lemme make a quick call." Virat said as he called someone.
"Kem chho motabhai! (What's up bro!)" Virat asked.
...
"Yea, so listen, I'm getting engaged next week!" Virat said
"NEXT WEEK!" Shagun exclaimed.
Virat motioned for her to be quiet.
"Yea! Okay so I need you to take care of the decorations and the food." Virat said
...
"Okay! Thank you so much!" Virat said as he disconnected the call.
"VIRAT!" Everyone yelled.
"What? Everything is set!" Virat answered.
"Everything except what we're gonna wear!" Shagun said.
"Seriously? You're stressed about such a small thing! Guys! Like I can guarantee that most of you have this one fancy dress, saree, suit, or sherwani that you haven't worn yet! You have to have at least a minimum of one piece of fancy clothing that you have saved for a good occasion. I mean come on!" Virat said
Everyone looked around at each other. I mean Virat wasn't wrong. It is true that we have some clothes that are meant only for good occasions.
"By the looks of it, it seems that we can manage the clothing part for the engagement at least." I said.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"So that's done. Now-"
"That's not done yet! I still need to decide what I will wear!" Shagun said.
