Shagun's POV: the present time........
I looked at where Virat was looking....oh Sh*t!
I saw two people...I was screwed! Done for! Band baj gaya! (really screwed!)
"What the hell was going on here!" Muskaan asked...yep! These two devils (Muskaan and Akash) just had to ruin our moment! I took a look at Virat, he was pissed! This wasn't a scene you see everyday! Akash and Muskaan better run for their lives 'cause my man here looks like he's going to put you in your graves!
Virat and I walked up to them
"What were you guys doing?" Akash asked with a shocked expression.
"What you do with your girlfriend...oh wait. You don't have one!" Virat said....ohhhhh! This just got salty! Akash just rolled his eyes.
"Why the f*ck would you start kissing in the middle of a....a... public spot?" Akash asked. Ummmm.. because we wanted to, and we don't give a f*cking sh*t about what other people think!
"If you were in a relationship you'd understand the urge of expressing your love to your significant other." I said, I mean I wasn't going to let Virat do all the talking
"Just get a room!" Muskaan said
"Ummm Muski, for your information, we were in a room the other day *refer back to chapter 29 when Virat, Muskaan, and Shagun were at Virat's house* but it was you that decided to interrupt us!" Virat said as he put a hand around my shoulder.
"What....ughhh! You two! That was because I didn't want to see your PDA!" Muskaan said out of frustration.
"Well that was your problem! You didn't have to ruin the moment like always!" Virat retorted
"What do you mean like always?" Akash asked
"Well, every time Shagun and I try...try to spend some time together..one of you ends up calling us to help save your a*ses, for some advice, or because you wanted to say something but couldn't move your a*s to come to us! Like you guys are like the Rahu Ketu (demons) of my life!" Virat said. I let out a small chuckle...although I am frustrated, and angry at Muskaan and Akash for ruining my moment with Virat...the argument that these three are having is classic!
Casually, I took a look at my watch....it was freaking 9:00 pm! My parents would be worried! I nudged Virat, he looked down and asked,
"What happened?"
"Ummm...Virat, it is 9:00 already...I think we should go home now." I said, Virat didn't look happy with that idea..I wasn't so keen on leaving so soon either, but until we told our parents about us.... late night returns were not acceptable.
"Shagun....do we have to?" Virat asked...and as if on cue...his phone rang. He looked shocked, i saw who it was...it was his mom.
"Hello?" Virat replied.
"Yeah, we are out."
"All four of us mumma!"
"You what!"
"I thought you were returning tomorrow?"
"Do you have the keys?"
"Yeah, I'm coming right now!"
"Bye!"
"Okay, now Virat HAS to go home!" Akash said as he and Muskaan started laughing. Virat's face was worth watching...he wanted to laugh, but he also wanted to stay mad, which made his face look like he was constipated for the past 4 months! I also gave a light chuckle before heading home with Virat.

Third person's POV: the present time........
After Virat and Shagun left, Muskaan and Akash were left alone in the serenity of nature.
"We were literally here to hang out...never thought we'd run into their PDA!" Muskaan said as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah! Well I mean, we are here, and unlike them...we told your mom that we wouldn't be back until like 10...so...let's chill!' Akash said as he took a seat on the grass in front of the lake. Muskaan then joined him, as she sat down.
The two friends enjoyed their time, while sharing jokes, stories and they had a good time...but as they say...good things must come to an end.
Muskaan and Akash got up to go home when suddenly someone hit Muskaan on the back of her head with a rod, and she fell to the ground due to the shock of the sudden impact. Akash immediately turned around to see who it was that had the audacity to hurt his friend. Akash saw a quick glance of black, he turned to the direction, and he saw a girl wearing all black running away. Akash then ran after them, but she was too fast , and she had managed to run away. Akash then ran and looked for her..he wouldn't spare her when he got his hands on who it was. After a while of searching...Akash gave up...not because he was tired of searching..it was due to his concern for Muskaan's health.
He went back to where Muskaan was lying unconscious on the floor, he tried to wake her up
"Muski! Muski wake up!" Akash yelled, he tried shaking her...but no signs of consciousness could be seen.
"Muski! You have to wake up! I've no one else! For my sake Muskaan wake up!" Akash continuously tried to wake her up. It wasn't until he put a hand behind her head that he realized that she was bleeding! Akash's eyes widened in terror! His mom was also hit on the head before she slipped into coma. He wasn't going to let the same thing happen to Muskaan.
"Is my love really back luck? Oh lord what should I do? MUSKAAN! Let me take her to the hospital!" Akash decided as he carried Muskaan to his car. He then opened the back door of his car with one hand and then gently made Muskaan lay on her back. He then got into the driver's seat and sped off to the hospital.
Once he got there, he quickly parked his car. Then he picked up Muskaan from the back seat, locked his car, and ran to the hospital.
As he entered, all eyes were on him.
"Doctor! Doctor!" Akash yelled. Soon enough, a nurse brought a stretcher and made Muskaan lie down on it. Doctors came rushing as soon as they heard the commotion. Muskaan was then wheeled to the ICU.
Akash then sat down on one of the chairs outside of the ICU, and put his head between his hands. He had not expected the day to turn out this way. He had not expected someone to attack Muskaan, and he was going to ensure that they would not get away with it!
Akash then quickly called up Virat...after all his friend was a police officer!
"Hello Virat!"
"What the f*ck is it this time?" Virat answered
"Muskaan was attacked-"
"WHAT! How, when did this happen?" Shagun asked. Akash realized that Shagun was with Virat at the time, and Virat didn't want to let Shagun know about the fact that he was a police officer. Multiple thoughts swarmed in Akash's head, he wanted to help keep his friend's secret, but was a secret worth letting a criminal escape? No it wasn't.
"Virat, I need you to start an investigation. I couldn't see where the person was or who it was all I know is that it is a woman, and she was wearing black, she looked around 5'6. Find her." Akash ordered.
"Akash, I know you are worried, but how can Virat start an investigation?" Shagun asked
"Don't worry Akash, I'm headed straight for the hospital, and my team will start investigating immediately....I will look into this personally." Virat said.
"What...what do you mean Virat?" Shagun asked.
"Akash, did you call auntie?" Virat asked, completely sidelining Shagun's question.
"No, I'll do that right now." Akash said as he disconnected the call and called Muskaan's mom.
"...things are going to get messy" Akash thought
