Shagun's POV: The present time....

I thought staring into his eyes was the best thing that happened to me.....he freaking said I love you to me! What? I can't believe it! It feels like I'm standing somewhere amongst the clouds watching my life! This feels like a dream....the best dream ever! Oh my god! Is this a dream! If this is a dream, please never let me wake up! I don't want to wake up from this dream where I am so close to the love of my life!

Right now I'm inside my house, everyone is sitting in the living room, I am trying my best to sneak upstairs and go to sleep....why? Since if I sit here with them, I will end up spilling the beans on my relationship with Virat! Oh my god! Did I just say relationship!? I am so happy! I wis-

"Guddi! You came home?" Oh great! Daddy saw me!
"Yes daddy, I just came." I replied
"Where were you? We were about to call you" Vishal bhaiya (brother) asked....I'm so screwed! How the hell am I supposed to lie to them! I have never lied to my family in my entire life!
"Bhai.....voh...main.....Vi...Vi....Vinnie ke saath thi....isiliye merko late hua! (Brother...I was with Vi...Vi...Vinnie...that's why I'm late!)" I lied! I actually lied! For the first time I lied to my family for who.....Virat
"Vinnie? You never told us about a friend named Vinnie?" Mom asked
"Haan! Apan dono ekich class main tha college main! Voh apni itni kareebi dost nahin thi, par dost thi. Isiliye apan jab ghar areli thi voh merko mili aur hum dono baat karne laga! Iss Vinnie ki vajah se apan late hua! (Yes! We were in the same class in college! She wasn't my close friend, but she was a friend. That's why when I was coming home, I met her and we started talking! Due to this Vinnie I was late!)" I lied....do we have to do so much in love?
"Okay....but didn't you go to the vet with Virat? Then why did you come alone?" Ishita bhabhi (sister-in-law) asked.....ughhh! Another lie!
"Yeah! We were together, we got Priya checked out, then Virat had to go urgently due to some work related emergency so he offered to drop me home but I said it's okay...why would I interfere in his work?" I lied....a hat trick for me! Three lies in under 15 minutes!
"Ok! As long as he asked to drop you home! If he didn't I would have yelled at him!" Ishita bhabhi (sister-in-law) warned.
"Okay everyone good night!" I said as I went into my room to sleep.

I got changed and sat on my bed. I have to text Virat about lying to my family for the first time! He is never going to believe this!

Hey Virat! I actually lied to my family! Thanks to you! Good night....I love you!

I sent him the message

I just sat in my room thinking about today....I felt so good! Honestly! Not just because Virat said I love you! I felt as if a heavy rock was lifted from my heart! I met Akash today, and I apologized to him, I should have done this earlier! Anyways, everything is perfect!

Is it really though? I mean, Muskaan's life is still a mess! Well not technically a mess but she has a broken heart that needs to be fixed! Is it just me or is it because I am in love I'm thinking about people's hearts too much!

First thing tomorrow I'll talk to Virat and make a plan on how to tell Muskaan about Akash!

While thinking about them two I fell asleep into the best sleep I had in ages.......
