Chapter 25

Ishaan's POV: The present time...

Didi opened the door and was in shock....she probably didn't expect to see us right in front of her door....let alone the fact that we had heard the entire conversation without her knowing....just admit it that you were eves  dropping you idiot....No! No we were not eavesdropping...we happened to be right by her door during the argument....thats all!

"Ishaan! Veer! When did you guys come?" Muskaan didi asked in shock
"We literally just came!" Veer lied....easily may I add...lying wasn't a big deal for my bro here!
"Oh! Did you hear anything?" Muskaan didi asked suspiciously
"No! What do you mean! Was there something we needed to hear?" Veer asked cunningly....my crazy brother....
"No...we were just talking about some old stuff...embarrassing stuff actually...thank god you guys didn't hear anything! Anyways Virat and Shagun were on their way home so if you guys could lead them out that would be great! I'm off to sleep...really tired you see!" Muskaan didi said as she faked a yawn.
"Okay didi!" I exclaimed as we escorted Virat bhai and Shagun didi to the door.....they would leave...but not before a decent talk from us two

So we opened the door and let them out and closed the door behind us. Then the conversation started......

"Okay we heard everything!" Veer announced bluntly
"You what!" Shagun didi Yelled
"What! You didn't think we just came from school right?" Veer asked with an arched eyebrow. Shagun didi and Virat bhai just looked at each other in shock
"You heard everything....as in everything?" Virat bhai asked slowly
"Yes! We just want to say, we believe you guys. We believe that Akash bhai has changed." Veer said wth a smile
"We also want to say that we will help you in whatever way possible to get Akash bhai and Muskaan didi back together!" I announced
"It won't be that hard! Trust me! Muskaan didi still loves him!" Veer said shocking everyone
"How would you know? She was talking so rudely about him!" Shagun didi protested
"Well.....a person can only get hurt by their loved ones! If Muskaan didi had forgotten her feelings for Akash bhai then she wouldn't have been so affected by Akash bhai's side of the story." Veer said calmly
"True....but how would you know all this?" Virat bhai asked with a suspicious smile
"How would he not know? This guy has practically been with-
"That's enough information Inu" Veer said as he interrupted me
"Just wanted to let you guys know, if you need any help we are there for you guys and Akash bhai!" I said confidently
"Thank you guys! Never knew that you guys of all people would be so understanding!" Shagun didi complimented
"So as of now we just want you guys to make Muskaan feel bad about basically throwing us out...so that we could be friends again...." Virat bhai instructed
"Okay no problem!" I said.

Virat bhai and Shagun didi were about to leave when my brother noticed something very, very, very useful for our plan...and he couldn't help but shout it out.....

"Omg! You two are holding hands!"

That made Virat bhai and Shagun didi immediately unclasped their intertwined fingers and drop their hands to their sides.
They then slowly turned around and looked at Veer with the "I will kill you" look.

"Oho! VAH! Virat bhai and Shagun didi....bf gf! VAH! Chora chhori ek dusre se love karte hain! Shaadi karado! (The boy and the girl love each other! Get them married!)" Veer shamelessly said
"Tereko kaise pata chala? (How did you know?)" Shagun didi asked in her usual funny dialect.
"Arz kiya hai! (As they stated)" Veer started...probably some next other bakwaas (nonsense) poem
"Irshaad! (Go on)" I said...just for fun!
"Arz kiya hai! Jawaani main pair phisalgaya....jawaani main pair phisalgaya! Jisne bhi uthaya hum bole jaan main tumhara ho gaya (As they stated! In youth our foot slipped! Whoever helped us up we said darling I'm yours!) " Veer said while smirking
"seriously!" Virat bhai and Shagun didi said at the same time.
"What? I had to!" Veer said innocently
"Anyways...ignoring my stupid brother....congratulations to you two!" I said...what? I am the more gentleman brother here! If we were both as stupid and shameless as Veer here....we would be doomed!
"Thank you!" Shagun didi said shyly
"Okay so we will be on our way now!" Virat bhai announced

So we bid Virat bhai and Shagun didi goodbye assuring them that we will put our most cunning and creative minds in order to bring happiness back into our Muskaan didi's life. We entered the house and went to our room where we started thinking of our plan....and in under twenty minutes we had a plan that would bring Muskaan didi and Akash bhai together in a matter of seconds....well if everything happened according to our plan that is.

Soon after finishing up some work we got from school we decided to put the first component of our plan into action. So we were about to leave our room when we heard footsteps coming our way. Veer peeped out the door and saw Muskaan didi walking towards our room. Veer looked at me with the "now what" look and I was just like "chill I got this"

"Veer! Can you believe that Shagun didi and Virat bhai are in a relationship?" I said loudly so that Muskaan didi could listen to what we were saying.
"Yes! How did that happen?" Veer copied my antics and gave me his signature smile.
"You know, they loved each other since grade 8 and are finally together! You too have a chance!" I said....not leaving the chance to tease my brother.
"Oh yes! I will try my luck later but first tell me, why didn't they tell Muskaan didi about their relationship? They were best friends right? They should have informed her!" Veer said sparking the fire
"Yes! That's what I was thinking! Though when I asked Virat bhai he said that right after he proposed to Shagun didi, he was going to come visit Muskaan didi and tell her about it with Shagun didi." I said
"Then why didn't he come?" Veer asked
"Well he was busy! Apparently this case came up and he couldn't decline it I mean he is in the police force...he is an intelligence officer..." I answered
"Wait! Virat bhai is an intelligence officer! Does Shagun didi know?" Veer asked.
"I don't know if she knows or not but.....that's the reason he gave." I said while nudging Veer with the "you are going off task look". Thankfully my brother got the hint and he said....
"Right! Didn't they also say that they went to Akash bhai's house?"
"Yes and he was feeling remorseful! I mean he could be faking it" I said
"I never knew didi would hide such a big thing that she loves....loved Akash bhai! She never even told us that that bloody  Ajay Mittal almost got her raped!" Veer said angrily....I could tell that his anger wasn't fake. Though he was angry...he had threw the net just where we wanted it....and then it came

"What the hell are you guys talking about!"

Great! The bait is trapped!
