At Mount Silver:
While there was a heavy snowfall, a hooded figure stood at the top summit of the vast mountain located between Kanto and Johto, looking down into the distance below while accompanied with a yellow mouse and a canine-like figure standing on two legs.
"It's been exactly two years since that day," Ash sighed to himself.
"When you got betrayed by some of your friends and rivals?" Lucario enquired through aura communication. Ash's Lucario was the Riolu he saved from the poachers and Hunter J in Sinnoh.
"That's right," Ash replied. "However, there's something else that I'm slightly worried about as well."
"And what might that be?" Lucario asked, curious at what his master was about to say.
"That fact that I got Professor Oak, Gary, Charles Goodshow and Scott to fabricate a story to the media saying that I'm dead, which would mean that I lied to my friends into believing that I'm no longer alive."
"Well what are you going to do? Surely you won't be staying here forever. Am I right?" Lucario asked.
"No," Ash replied. "I do intend to leave this place when I'm ready to do so, but not until when my Pokemon has been trained to its full potential," he added, briefly looking back at his cottage built by him and his Pokemon when he arrived at the summit of Mount Silver, accompanied with a massive backyard designated for his Pokemon to train.
"Well, I hope your friends will take it well when they find out that you hid from them for two years in a row," Lucario stated.
"I know," Ash replied. "When the time comes, I'll have to face them again."
All of Ash's Pokemon except for Pikachu and Lucario were at the backyard, sparring in pairs, training and practicing its movesets. Ash's Pokemon consisted of (moveset and item included):
Pikachu: Surf, Thunderbolt, Volt Tackle, Quick Attack.
Charizard: Flamethrower, Air Slash, Solar Beam, Dragon Pulse. Item: Charizardite Y.
Blastoise: Hydro Pump, Earthquake, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse. Item: Blastoisinite.
Bulbasaur (it refused to evolve): Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Sleep Powder, Poisonpowder.
Pidgeot: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Steel Wing, Tailwind. Item: Pidgeotite.
Kingler: Crabhammer, Stomping Tantrum, X-Scissor, Swords Dance.
Muk: Gunk Shot, Ice Punch, Shadow Punch, Acid Armor.
Lapras: Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Psychic, Drill Run.
Snorlax: Body Slam, Curse, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt.
Beedrill: Poison Jab, X-Scissor, Swords Dance, Drill Run. Item: Beedrillite.
Butterfree: Bug Buzz, Air Slash, Giga Drain, Tailwind.
Primeape: Close Combat, Gunk Shot, Stone Edge, Throat Chop.
Meganium: Giga Drain, Earthquake, Ancient Power, Iron Tail.
Typhosion: Lava Plume, Earthquake, Thunder Punch, Focus Blast.
Feraligatr: Aqua Tail, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Dragon Dance.
Heracross: Megahorn, Stone Edge, Close Combat, Bulk Up. Item: Heracrossite.
Noctowl: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Steel Wing, Extrasensory.
