Chapter 20 - Chaos, Catastrophes and Confrontations

At the front entrance of the Melemele Island Pokemon School:

"Alright, guys, ready to conduct our plan," asked Guzma as he and his group of grunts wore outfits that a regular Pokemon researcher would wear approached the entrance of the Pokemon School. He was given multiple nods in reply.

"Good. Let's get going," he finished off, as they marched towards Professor Kukui's Classroom.

Meanwhile, at Professor Kukui's Classroom, the professor was finishing off his lesson to his students about Mega Evolution when the disguised Team Skull members approached the latter.

"Hello there," greeted Professor Kukui. "What do you need?"

"Wow, what a friendly approach," commented Plumeria. "But it's a pity that you will regret it," she said as all of the grunts excluding Guzma surrounded Professor Kukui and the students as well as throwing off their disguises.

"YOU!!" Professor Kukui said in outrage. "What are you doing here!?" he continued pointing at Guzma who approached him. "Well, I have heard that a few days ago, somebody here had saved your weak students from 3 of my grunts, Tupp, Zipp and Rapp, and also defeated them in a battle," replied Guzma. "Now tell us," Tupp demanded. "What is the name of the trainer?"

"Like I'd ever tell you," Professor Kukui said in defiance. "Why does his name matter to you anyway?"

"Well, first off, I am here to seek revenge on that cursed trainer who humiliated my three grunts in that battle," replied Guzma. "And I'm afraid that if you refuse to tell us, we will immediately send out our Pokemon to harm you and your students," added Plumeria.

"Well, I can call the trainer so you can talk to him," replied Professor Kukui who had secretly devised a plan. "Sure thing, but any funny business will result in you and your students being harmed," said Rapp as Professor Kukui took out his phone.

At the Ten Carat Hill Cottage:

Ash and his Pokemon were currently in the middle of having lunch after a vigorous training session when his Nanodex beeped in his backpack. Already, after multiple training sessions since returning home from their completion of Ash's 1st Grand Trial, Rowlet had evolved into Dartrix, with new movesets consisting of: Energy Ball, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing and Giga Drain.

As Ash retrieved his Nanodex from his backpack, he noticed that the phone call was from Professor Kukui and answered it. "Hello, is this Professor Kukui?" he asked.

"Red, help us. My students and I are surrounded by Team Skull grunts and their boss, Guzma, and threatened to harm us with their Pokemon if we don't tell them your name so I need you to come over as soon as possible please," said Professor Kukui in panic.

"Those idiots again!?" Ash said in annoyance. "Alright, understood. I'll make my way as soon as possible," he continued and hung up. He turned to Pikachu, Lucario, and the rest of his Pokemon.

"Alright, guys. Professor Kukui and his students are currently held captive by the Team Skull grunts and the boss apparently named Guzma at their classroom. However, I have just devised a plan to eliminate them. Since their classroom can also be reached by flying from the outside, Pidgeot, Butterfree, Beedrill, Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, Gliscor, Unfezant, Talonflame, Noivern, I will need you guys to approach the classroom by flying from the distance in order to gain their attention as well as creating a diversion," he said, where his mentioned Pokemon gave a nod in understanding.

"Now, Pikachu, Lucario, I and along with several more of my rest of my Pokemon will approach the classroom from the main entrance and confront Team Skull, in a quiet manner while the Team Skull are distracted with my flying Pokemon. The other Pokemon I will require to accompany Pikachu, Lucario and myself will be Heracross, Sceptile, Infernape, Garchomp, Krookodile and Greninja," Ash said while the unmentioned Pokemon gave a disappointed groan.
