Chapter 64 - A New Alliance Formed

"Alright Plumeria, go knock on Tupp, Rapp and Zipp's cabin to see if they're ready. We better get training if we are to win the tournament," said Guzma.

"No problem," said Plumeria as she went out of her cabin and went to knock on the cabin next door.

"You guys ready?" asked Plumeria and the door opened as the three grunts walked outside.

"Ready whenever you are," the three grunts replied.

"Good, let's get going," said Guzma and his four comrades began to make their way towards one of the battlefields. On the way, the group had accidentally bumped into a larger group of people.

"Hey watch where you're going," said the person that was bumped over, who turned out to be no other than Trip.

"I can say the same for you guys," said Guzma as he got up.

"Whatever, who are you anyway?" asked Calem.

"My name is Guzma, the leader of Team Skull," replied Guzma.

"Team Skull, what is that?" asked Kenny.

"An organisation that is based in Alola, who often steals Pokemon from other trainers," replied Plumeria.

"Though most of the times, we're unsuccessful," said Tupp.

"Sounds like a criminal organisation from other regions such as Team Plasma from Unova," commented Iris.

"But what are you doing here if you're part of a criminal organisation?" asked May.

"Oh, boss Guzma will be competing in the tournament," answered Rapp.

"Really? For what purpose?" asked Misty.

"Firstly, to win and make our organisation more rich and second, to inflict revenge on that wretched trainer who is apparently the champion of Alola," replied Guzma.

"Champion of Alola? What does he look like?" asked Drew.

"We don't know. All he was wearing was a hooded cloak. Had a nasty confrontation with him and his friends a few days ago," said Zipp.

"Wait, you said he was wearing a hooded cloak, right? asked Trip.

"Yes, do you know him? asked Guzma.

"As a matter of fact, we do," said Kenny.

"A few days he challenged all of us in a battle, where we battled him individually on a 1 on 1 battle. Unfortunately, he beat us without much effort," said Calem.

"Then he must be the champion of Alola if he managed to defeat you guys that easily," said Plumeria.

"Seems like we have a common enemy. I have an idea," said Guzma, with an evil smile forming on his face.

"What is it?" asked Drew.

"Why don't we form an alliance together and inflict revenge on the champion of Alola in the tournament?" asked Guzma.

"Sounds like a plan," said Iris smirking.

"But first, we have something to do, and we would like you to help us," said May.

"Yes?" asked Plumeria.

"There is someone who defected from our side and went to join a group of people who are currently opposing us. We would like you to help us get him back," replied Drew.

"Who might that be?" asked Tupp.

"A guy named Cilan. Has light green hair and wears an outfit that appears rather formal," replied Trip.
