The next day after Ash defeated Cynthia, at the stadium:

"Today, we are very honoured to have such an accomplished trainer with us, by the name of Ash Ketchum, as many of you would know, has made a number of achievements throughout his journey in all seven regions, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos and last but not least, Alola, where he has become the champion," said Scott to the spectators.

"For those who didn't know Ash's achievements, he has made it in the Top 16 in the Kanto League, Top 8 in the Johto, Hoenn and Unova Leagues, Top 4 in the Sinnoh League and was the runner up in the Kalos League. Not only has he competed in the Regional Leagues, Ash has also won the Orange League and is one of the Champions there along with Drake as well as conquering the Battle Frontier. And as Scott just mentioned, Ash is now a regional Champion, putting him in the same status as Alder, Lance, Diantha, Steven and Cynthia," said Charles Goodshow.

"Aside from his achievements, Ash has also done many heroic deeds, such as disbanding the Regional villainous teams, Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Galactic, Team Plasma and Team Flare, as well as many other minor villains," said Scott.

"As many of you have seen in the past several days, Ash has defeated every regional Champion. And now, he is officially proclaimed as the Pokemon Master. Could we give it to Ash Ketchum for all of the achievements he has made?" requested Charles Goodshow and the spectators started applauding while the raven-haired trainer appeared from one of the two tunnel entrances to the battlefield with Pikachu on his shoulder.

"Congratulations, Ash. You have finally earned the title of Pokemon Master," said Scott. "How does it feel now that you have accomplished your goal at last?"

Before Ash answered, he took a deep breath. "Well, it's pretty much a dream finally becoming true. The path towards my dream hasn't been easy, with many obstacles that I had to face, but with all the support I got from all of my Pokemon and the people I have met along my journey in all three regions, I am very grateful for their support and encouragement they have given to me and it is safe to say that without them, I definitely would not be where I am at the moment. And to everyone out there on their path towards their goal, always remember: Never give up until the very end," replied the raven-haired trainer.

"The exact same words Ash said to me during the first time we met at the Kanto Summercamp when we were little," said Serena.

"Wait, Serena. You met Ash when you were little?" asked Lillie.

"Yes, I have. And I'm glad to have met him. That time, I got lost in the forest and hurt my leg and couldn't walk, but Ash was chasing a Poliwag and found me, so he wrapped my leg wound with a handkerchief and helped me out of the forest," replied Serena.

"Aww, that's so sweet of him," said Mallow.

"Indeed, and after all these years, one time when I was at home, I saw Ash on the news where Professor Sycamore's Garchomp was on a rampage in Lumiose City and eventually was on Lumiose Tower, so he climbed the tower in order to save the Garchomp," said Serena.

"Was he successful?" asked Lana.

"He was successful, but a short moment later, Pikachu fell off the tower and Ash jumped after in order to save it," said Clemont, shocking everyone except for Serena and Bonnie.

"Are you serious? He could have been killed," said Professor Kukui.

"Indeed, but a person with the identity 'Blaziken Mask' had used his Mega Blaziken to save Ash from falling to his death," said Bonnie.

"And that 'Blaziken Mask' happens to be our father, but his true identity was revealed much later during the Team Flare Crisis," added Clemont.

"Once I saw Ash on TV, I decided to find him and return the handkerchief to him," said Serena.
