A scream. A shattered, heartbreaking scream echoes from my daughters room, for the 5th time that week. My wife Helen, groans, throwing a pillow over her ears.
" Can't that girl be quiet."
" C'mon, let's go," I say. I groan slightly. Helen reluctantly gets up, and heads to the twins room. I get up and hurry to Annabeth's room. The screams persist, each one louder and more desperate.
I throw open the door to see my daughter kicking and screaming.
" No!" she yells out. I see her cheeks are glistened with tears.
" Annabeth, honey," I say. I try to get to her, only to get punched in the jaw.
"PERCY! NO! NO,NO,NO." The desperate cries fill the entire house.
" ANNABETH!" I yell. I grab both her hands trying to restrain her, but she breaks free, hitting me again. I scream her name again, over her screams. He eyes fly open. The cries get worse.
" The dreams...Percy," Annabeth says, choking on a sob.
" Annabeth..."
" Get out. You wouldn't understand." Her tears are falling faster. I reluctantly walk out. She grabs a prism and a spray bottle off her desk. I hurry back to my room, running into Helen on the way.
" It's getting worse," I whisper.
" Do you know why?" she asks.
" Not really. She's still yelling for Percy, her stupid boyfriend," I say. I'm still annoyed she's dating him.
" Whatever," Helen says. We walk back to our room.
