My favorite meets are when people meet the kids of Percabeth. I just love the kids I thought of with all my heart! 💕 And today, Percy and Annabeth's daughter; gets into some trouble at preschool.
"Okay, class! Story time!" I smile warmly, clapping my hands together. The 4 year olds slowly start pulling themselves away from the towers we were making and making their way over to the carpet. I smile at my favorite my in the class. Sophia Jackson. The young girl has a personality built for learning and is always bubbly and happy. She has curly blonde hair and bright green eyes. She sits down on the carpet happily.
I look over the kids and then sigh.
"Marissa, of course," I mumble under my breath.I walk over to the block towers and find the young girl hiding behind one.
"Marissa Jackson! We're done building, honey," I say, trying not to sound annoyed. You heard that right. The most problematic kid is the fraternal twin of the best. You can't even tell they are sisters. Marissa has curly black hair and her eyes aren't as bright of a green that Sophia's are.
Marissa sticks her tongue out at me and puts another block on the tower.
"Marissa..." I say.
"No! I don't like books! I like blocks!" she yells.
"Marisy!" comes Sophia's voice. The little girl is standing behind me arms crossed.
"Soph, tell her no!" Marissa says. Sophia shakes her head.
"Mommy says try your best."
"Meanie," Marissa says. She runs past me, and I try and stop her. Somehow, she fakes me and runs to the art sink.
"Uh oh," says Sophia, staring at me with a knowing expression on her face.
"NO BOOKS!" Marissa yells, stomping her feet.
"Grandmother's not gonna like that,"says Sophia, pointedly, almost sassily. Who taught her sass and sarcasm? ( Marissa and Sophia both got Percy's gift of sass and sarcasm. But Sophia uses it more often.) Whatever. Marissa continues her tantrum. She screams and then the sink explodes. Water pours out of the plumbing spraying me and the other kids. The other kids run around playing as the fire sprinklers go off. Sophia grimaces, annoyed as the water hits her skin. Marissa somehow seems dry as the water pelts everyone.
I run towards her, confused and annoyed. I pick her up.
"DOWN!" she screams. I let her go and almost fall down, slipping on the water. Then Principal Madison throws open the door.
"What the heck is happening?" she yells. She notices the water and me struggling to stop Marissa.
"Margot? Is this your doing?"
"No, ma'am. Marissa here was misbehaving and may have broken a pipe somehow," I reply, soaked and annoyed.
"I'll call her parents. Meanwhile, please evacuate your class," she says pointedly. I nod as she closes the door. I sigh at the kids running around.
"Did she say she was calling Mommy and Daddy?" asks Sophia I nod.
"Oh yay! I wonder what Daddy will think of Marissa following in his footsteps." I stare at her.
"What?"
So I had to wrap this up quickly and I think it's better spaced out into two parts anyways. But yeah! Also please note you CAN still suggest character ideas! Just go to the corresponding chapter. It really helps me when I have writer's block! Thanks!
