Mortals Meet Percabeth

Jessica Madison Part 3

Percy and Annabeth sit down with Marissa on the couch in front of my desk, as Sophia returns to playing with blocks in the corner. Marissa wiggles her way in between her parents and giggles when Percy ruffles her hair.

"Would you like some water?" I ask.

"Please," responds Annabeth. Percy nods. I grab a pitcher and two paper cups. I pour each of them a glass.

"So what did Marissa do?" asks Percy. I sit down my desk as Annabeth sips her water.

"She had a tantrum and somehow managed to explode a pipe." A laugh escapes from Percy's mouth as Annabeth chokes on her water. Percy reaches over to his wife and pats her back. Annabeth puts down her water. 

"What?" she says, laughing. I raise an eyebrow. 

"When she was having a tantrum , she must of hit a pipe or something because the plumbing went crazy and soaked the entire class," I repeat. Sophia laughs from the corner. Annabeth bursts into laughter, as I stare confused. 

"I should've known this would happen someday the second I married Percy," she says in between laughs. 

"Wait... have one of you ever done something like this before?" Silence. Then Percy slowly raises his hand. 

"Seaweed Brain!" laughs Annabeth, swiping his hand out of the air. I stare at him. 

"There was this one time at camp when I was being bullied and broke the piping to protect myself," he shrugs. I stare at the couple as they laugh. Marissa pats her mom's knee. 

"Can we go home now Mommy?" 

"Ummm..." I say. 

"Jessica,  I promise I'll talk to her about keeping her emotions in check so this doesn't happen again. And my husband will, ahem, teach her how not to destroy plumbing." 

"Yes,I'll...ummm...do just that," responds Percy. Marissa giggles. Annabeth stands up, and I hurriedly get up. 

'It was nice meeting with you but, I believe we can handle it from here," she smiles. 

"Sophia!" calls Percy. The little girl runs up to her family and the family exits my office. I'm left behind confused and surprised. 

So this last installment was pretty bad but I have an idea for a Percabeth wedding meet so I want to get to writing that!
