AN: Finally! The long wait is over!
Warning: Wrong grammars ahead. 😅
Flashback (way back in college—from the very first time they met.)
Jared's POV
It's monday morning and the first day of classes—again. Apparently, it is the first term of my second year. I was walking down the hallway when I saw a group of new students lining up at the registrar's office. They looked so neat and a bit... tensed? Did i describe it right?
One glance and you know that they're all shy and mousy. Tss. Typical freshmen. Give them a month or two and you'll probably see them running around or talking as if the whole school is theirs.
The bell rings and a loud announcement was heard.
"Good morning students. Welcome to all freshmen students. Please be adviced that we'll be having a short meet and greet at our school audutorium. To all sophomores, junior, and graduating students, you are all invited as well. Morning classes are waved for the day. Thank you and once again good morning!"
With hands on my pockets, I continued to walk. But instead of going to the auditorium, I headed to the library.
'It's the same old routine. Why bother attending, right?'
As expected, the library was empty. But still, I went to the farthest table—the one closest to the old shelves. I know nobody would dare to go to this part since this was said to have a gloomy ambiance and that ghosts were frequently seen. I 'tsked. How can such lame stories brainwash people's head?
Pathetic.
When I finally got to the oldest table, I felt peace and serenity.
'Ah! Finally.'
I rested my head and immediately went into a deep slumber.

*boogsh'Ugh! What's that noise?'
With blurry eyes, I looked at where I think the noise came from. And there, with a hint of light coming from a small crack in the wall, I saw, a lot of books scattered and messily piled up.
*cough cough
My eyebrows furrowed. Did I hear someone coughing?
I squinted my eyes at the books and watched as they moved. And slowly... little by little...a human figure started to emerge from the pile of books.
"Aray koo~" I heard the figure say.
The figure keeps on brushing off the dust from its body as it keeps on muttering words.
*cough*
Tsk."
It started rummaging through the scattered books."Asar!
