Chapter 16: Secrets

Raiyn

I woke up to my body screaming in pain. At least he didn't hit me in my face this time. I got up & walked to the bathroom. Jaden followed me. I slowly lifted my shirt as I looked in the mirror. I was covered in blackened bruises. Purples, blues, & greens. My legs were the same. Jaden rubbed her head on my leg trying to comfort me. I know she feels bad. I did my business & washed my hands & walked into my closet to look for some long leggings. My mom doesn't know. And I have to keep it that way. I found some & put them on. I walked over to my phone. I had a text from Tyler.

Tyler: Come over?

Raiyn: Where?

Tyler: My house duh. Spencer & Earl are here too

Raiyn: :P I'm on my way

I put my bra on & a long sleeve shirt & a hoodie on. It was a little cold today. I put on some colorful socks & my favorite pair of moccasins & grabbed my phone & walked out of the house. I text my mom & told her I was leaving out. I got on the bus & went to Tyler's. I knocked & waited. He answered the door.

Tyler- Yo Raiyn is here y'all! Come in.

I walked in & saw they were eating chips & stuff playing games.

Tyler- Jasper said he's coming too.

Earl- Yes! I'm ready to clown this nigga!

Spencer- Jasper still owes me like $5.

Raiyn- Hey guys.

Earl- Sup Raiyn daddy.

Raiyn- I'm a daddy now? (laughs)

Spencer- Yeah I gave you my daddy card.

Tyler- When I'm gonna get it back?

Earl- When Raiyn doesn't want it anymore.

I sat on the couch. They had some board games out & some Uno cards.

Raiyn- Can we play Uno?

Tyler- Yeah let's wait til Jasper gets here though so we can all play.

Raiyn- Okay.

Spencer- I like your leggings where you get them?

Raiyn- Some store in the mall.

Spencer- We should go some time.

Raiyn- Okay I'll let you know.

Earl- Girls & shopping.

He stuck his tongue out.

Spencer- Shut up Thebe.

Earl- Yes ma'am!

Tyler- Hahahahaa you just got bitched!

Spencer- Shut up Tyler!

Tyler- Damn but okay.

Raiyn- She just bitched you (laughs)

Tyler- It's okay. Don't go to sleep tonight Spencer.

Spencer- Whatever.

There was a knock at the door & Tyler got up & answered.

Tyler- Fat ass!

Jasper- Sup niggas!

Earl- Sup bon bon.

Jasper- You know thuggin like usual.

Spencer- Where's my money at?

Jasper- Damn can a nigga walk through the door first?

Jasper walked in & Tyler shut the door.
