The rest of the car ride back was giddy. You couldn't hide the huge grin which possessed your red face. The sun was setting, strongly pigmented reds, pinks and blues formed on the horizon, you drove towards it, reflecting its coloured light on your faces. You snaked a glance at Mingyu who was smiling, but much more collected than you were, one hand on the wheel, the other resting near the gearstick.
Y/N: "So, what was that for" you landed your head towards him, anticipating his answer but trying to act cool.
Mingyu: "Just a spur of the moment thing" he spared you a look and continued smiling at the quiet road in front.
Y/N: "Spur of the moment thing" you tutted and folded your arms, not impressed by his answer.
Mingyu: "Don't give me that look" he teased and grabbed your hand.
You felt at peace in these moments. Fireflies lit up your path, in these moment everything was perfect. Mingyu hummed a perfect lullaby, relaxing every muscle in your body. Your fingers were intertwined and so were your souls. You rested your eyes on the never ending road, the beautiful colours dyed the sky and matched your heart. Nothing mattered right now, you didn't know how to describe your feelings, the best word to sum it up was
~Euphoric~
