Chapter 16

LEXI’S POV

September 15 *1 ½ months after discovering powers….4 months after accident...

It’s been over a month since we discovered that we all had strange gifts and ever since then, we’ve been using them every chance we had since we no longer had to hide it from each other.

The boys were really enjoying themselves, they had even made up a game with their powers, it was sort of like extreme rock paper scissors.

Everyone was happier now that they could really and truly be themselves around each other. They still had to be careful about Paul, who was always in the hotel room next door to us. We had all decided that we didn’t want anyone to know about it, so we kept it to ourselves.

I woke up late last night to Kayla shaking me gently, she had her white tiger in her arms, and tears streaming down her cheeks. I sat up and picked her up, setting her on my lap.

“What’s the matter munchkin?” I asked her softly.

“I had a bad dream. Can I sweep with you and Harry?” she sobbed.

“Lexi?” Harry asked groggily, as he sat up.

“Harry, I had a bad dweam. Can I sweep here?” Kayla cried as she crawled into his arms.

“Aww Kay-Bear, of course you can sleep here” he said, wiping away her tears and tucking her under the covers between us.

Harry and I laid back down too.

“Sing to me?” she asked sleepily.

“Okay, love” he said propping his head up on his hand. “What do you want me to sing?”

“Stole my heart pwease”

He coughed lightly to clear his throat before he began “Don’t you know all night I’ve been waiting for a girl like you to come around?” he sang the same lyrics, but sang it slower and at a different tune “Under the lights tonight, you turned around and you stole my heart with just one look, when I saw your face I fell in love. It took a minute girl to steal my heart tonight with just one look, been waiting for a girl like you” he was smiling at me when he sang. He was so perfect, even though his amazing green eyes were full of sleep, they still managed to sparkle.

I smiled back, then closed my eyes to fall asleep to his voice. Then I felt him lean over Kayla, and press his lips against mine, I smiled into the kiss then he pulled back and sang Kayla and I to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to the most adorable thing in the world. Harry was lying on his back, and had Kayla’s white tiger in one arm, and had Kayla wrapped in the other. She was sprawled across his chest, both of their mouths wide open. Harry was snoring loudly and I was surprised that Kayla hadn’t woken up from it, he was practically snoring right in her ear, then again, Kayla was always a heavy sleeper.

I quietly got up to get my phone so I could take I picture of it. I grabbed my phone and snapped the pic. It was perfect, I posted it on twitter and said: ‘Isn’t this the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen? This is what I woke up to this morning.’

A little while later Liam came in with his laptop.

“Liam, shhh, what are you doing?”

“I’m doing a twitcam and I saw your tweet of Kayla and Harry, I wanted to show them!” he said walking over to me. “Here, we have our wonderful Lexi” he said turning the laptop to me. I smiled and waved at the little camera. Then he turned it toward Kayla and Harry. “And here we have Harry, sleeping with a stuffed animal, snoring, and Kayla drooling on him” he whispered quietly.
