LEXI'S POV

May 13

We all froze in place, no one made a single move or took a single breath.

Yeah, we knew she'd come but we had no idea when. In some ways we were expecting it, and in some ways we weren't. Things had been so quiet these past months, and I didn't know if I was ready for this.

We probably would have stayed frozen like that all day if Leo hadn't spoken and snapped me out of it.

"Lexi! Lexi! What's the matter?!" Leo yelled.

I dropped Zayn's hand and took a step back from him, as if he had just told me he was diseased.

"AHHHHHHH" Louis yelled randomly at the top of his lungs.

We all looked at him like he was crazy "Sorry, sorry, I was monentarily in shock. I'm good. I'm ready. I'm ready" he grumbled.

Harry pulled me into his side "We can do this babe" he whispered in my ear.

"Lexi! What's going on?!" Leo and Leila demanded.

I kneeled down beside them "Caroline's coming here"

"I'll protect you Lexi" Leo growled.

"No, I want the both of you to protect Kayla. You understand?"

"Yes Lexi" Leila replied. She was always the obedient one, Leo on the other hand was another story. He was stubborn.

"I will protect you." Leo remarked firmly.

I gave him a stern look "I don't have time to argue about this Leo."

I stood back up and Leila went to Kayla's side, while Leo sat at mine.        "Alright! Everyone prepare yourselves and tell everyone else to meet in the dining room. Go! Now!" Harry ordered.

Everyone dashed off, yelling like madmen.

Harry grabbed my hand and dragged us out of the room. We ran around warning everyone, Leo following and barking occasionally.

After maybe five minutes everyone had cleared out and were in the dining room.

We headed down to see Conrad, Paul along with a few other members of the Friedhelm at the far end of the room. When Conrad saw me he urged me forward and Harry, Leo and I walked over to him.

"Alright! Everyone protect Alexis with your life, we need to give her the opportunity to finally get rid of Caroline once and for all! This is what we've been training for! We ARE prepared! We CAN do this!"

Derrick shouted to everyone. He was a member of the Friedhelm, and he was also the leader of the Cyneward and he had been our main trainer these past couple of months.

"Remember, Lexi is coming out of this ALIVE! We are doing this together! Everyone understand?!" Niall yelled.

All the members of the Cyneward shouted ‘yeah's’ in agreement. Some members of the Friedhelm did as well, but most of them tilted their heads down and kept quiet.

"I don't care what's supposed to happen, I don't care what this fuckin' universe says. Lexi will defeat Caroline and she WILL survive!" Louis yelled.

There were more yeah's and Harry pulled me into him, rubbing my back soothingly.

"Are you ready for this?" Harry asked me.

"I'm ready" I whispered back

Conrad and Derrick barked orders at everyone and we all scattered, taking our places.
