Chapter 30
LEXI’S POV
January 25…one month after Christmas...
It had been a month since Christmas, we’d been training every single day since arriving here. We had been making good improvements, but I had no idea what the plan was, I had no idea what Conrad was telling the fans, or what he was telling the boys’ families.
I know the boys missed their families, yeah, they had been away from them for this long before, but they didn’t have any communication with them what so ever.
I was scared, and getting more anxious every day, things were going so perfectly right now, and I knew it was only a matter of time before something bad happened.
I opened my eyes to see the sun shining brightly. I turned my head to look at Harry, Leo had somehow climbed onto Harry’s head in the middle of the night. He was sprawled across Harry’s face, both of them were snoring loudly. My two little men.
Harry had said that Leo wasn’t allowed onto the bed, but Leo had learned how to jump up onto the bed by himself, and he’s been sleeping with us ever since that very first night.
I’m so glad that we found Leo and Leila, they were so perfect, well mostly perfect. I had no problem potty training them, since they understood what I was telling them, and their manners were improving. The only problems we really had was that they needed constant attention, so they often interrupted our training sessions, they ran around the house, like mad men, and had already ruined five pairs of shoes. And they ate almost as much as Niall, but for the most part they were very good and I was happy to have them.
It had been a month since Christmas, Leo was getting huge, and pretty soon he’d have to stop sleeping on Harry’s head, or he’d suffocate him. Leo probably already weighed as much as Kayla, Leila was getting bigger too, but she was much smaller than Leo.
I kissed them both softly and got out of bed. I jumped in the shower, got dressed in a black t-shirt, a white pair of tight fitting jeans, that were Harry’s favorite on me and for now, some socks.
I had headed down stairs this morning, and headed into the dining room. Niall was the only one in there, and he had helped himself to a plate full of hash browns, and had what looked like an omelet.
I took a seat across from him and helped myself to some pancakes.
“Morning Niall”
He looked up, startled, his mouth was stuffed full of food and he looked like a chipmunk, he obviously hadn’t seen me come in. He looked from me to his plate then back to me, and he quickly snatched his plate and set it on his lap. He swallowed, and gave me a sheepish grin.
“Sorry, Lexi, I didn’t know you’d be up so early” he apologized.
“Niall, it’s okay, you don’t have to hide it from me. Really, it’s fine, it’s just an omelet, I’ll live” I laughed.
He perked up, set the plate back on the table, and continued stuffing his face.
Everyone else came in a little later, and when we were done we headed back upstairs to get dressed, to do some more training.
I walked in to my room to find Leila still sleeping, in Kayla’s bed.
I slid on a jacket and put on a pair of combat boots and my black fingerless gloves, and headed into Harry’s room to check on Leo, he was still sleeping too.
I found all of them in the back, it usually took Conrad and Paul awhile to get them under control, so I wasn’t surprised to see them all messing around.
