Chapter 1

LEXI'S POV

January 28...

So, Caroline wasn't dead. I didn't kill her. I felt a mixture of emotions run through me.

But I wasn't scared. I could do this, as long as I had Harry by my side, I knew I could get through anything.

After everyone got over the initial shock, Conrad and Paul immediately contacted every member of the Friedhelm and the Cyneward. And every single one of them would be arriving over the next couple of days. All sixty plus members of the Friedhelm along with the fourteen members of the Cyneward. That'd be 85 people here. This was a huge house, but I don't know how we were going to fit 85 people in here.

I know what Conrad said about me needing to die in order to truly defeat Caroline. But I had this feeling that I would survive, despite what he said.

No one was happy, we all thought everything was finally over.

HARRY'S POV

I was not happy about this. I was furious. I thought Lexi and I would finally be able to start our lives together. Have a fresh start, have a normal relationship. I guess I should have known better. This was my karma for all the shit I've done in my past. The universe just couldn't let me be happy.

For the rest of the day, we all huddled around on the couch, comforting each other. Some how, not one of us shed a single tear. Maybe we were all dried out. We'd all been crying so much lately that we just didn't have anything left.

Every single member of the Friedhelm and Cyneward arrived the next day. We were all introduced, but there were so many of them I couldn't keep track of their names. I really only bothered to remember the names of the members of the Cyneward. There were eight boys and six girls, most of them were around our age or older, the youngest was a sixteen year old boy and the oldest was a twenty-five year old girl.

Everyone soon all grew attached to Lexi and Kayla and the boys followed Lexi around like a puppy and worshipped the ground she walked on.

I was constantly by her side, making sure none of them tried to make a move on her. I often made it a point to show off her ring, that meant she was off limits. I'm glad I made the point to write what I did on Lexi's cast too.

I had the boys to help me fend off the newcomers as well, along with Leo who growled slightly whenever one of them would come near her. Luckily, he was just as protective of her as I was.

Leo really didn't even like me, I think he just put up with me for Lexi's sake. 

Leo was smart and he was growing everyday. He was only three months old at most, but he was still fairly large. He had already surpassed Leila in size.

Conrad almost made Lexi and I sleep in separate rooms when everyone showed up. He wanted the girls to sleep in one room and the guys to sleep in another, but I refused.

We eventually worked it out, and the boys, Kayla, Lexi, Leo, Leila and I all got to share a room.

We spent the next five days adjusting, and getting to know everyone better.

The boys eventually gave up, realizing it was useless to try and get at Lexi.

It was very crowded around the place, and Fidelity and Caleb couldn't handle feeding everyone on their own so we had to organize a schedule of when we would help out in the kitchen. The boys, Lexi, Kayla and I were unfortunately put into separate shifts. Conrad hoped that by doing that, we'd have the chance to get to know everyone better.
