Chapter 23

LEXI’S POV

December 2

I woke up this morning to all five of the boys, and Kayla jumping up and down in my bed, Harry must have carried me in earlier.

“Bunny! Bunny! Bunny! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!” Niall yelled excitedly.

I groaned, and rolled over, putting my pillow over my head.

“LEXI! WAKE. UP. We have a surprise for you!” Zayn yelled.

I mumbled and hid under the covers. Then I felt them slide off my bed and get really quiet.

I peeked out from under my blankets and they were all standing around my bed, with pillows raised above their heads.

“NOO!” I screamed, ducking back under the covers. Then it started. I was pelted with pillows.

I wrapped my blankets around me, stumbled out of bed and tried to run out the door but was stopped by Louis before I could make it out. He tickled my sides and I nearly peed my pants.

“Help me! Paul! Somebody help me! Help!” I screamed, while laughing hysterically.

“Paul’s in the next room over, there’s no one to hear your screams!” Louis giggled into my ear.

“No! Liam! Help me!” I laughed, figuring Liam was my best chance.

“Leeyum coming to the rescue!” he said, and the next thing I know I’m in his arms, and out in the living room.

The living room was decorated with tons of streamers, balloons, banners, and there was candy everywhere, along with all my favorite foods and Paul was standing in the middle of it.

He set me down and smiled.

“SURPRISE!” Harry yelled, picking me up and twirling me around.

“Wow, this is amazing guys, how did you even pull all this off?” I asked in wonder.

“Lexi, we’ve got super powers, how do you think we did it?” Zayn answered sarcastically.

I punched him in the arm playfully, and Paul walked up to me, holding my favorite flowers in his hands, plumerias.

“Happy Birthday Alexis” Paul said, handing me the flowers.

I hugged him and put the flowers to my nose. “Thank you so much”

“C’mon! We made your favorite breakfast! Homemade pancakes with peanut butter!” Niall said, ushering me to the kitchen table, where sure enough there was a giant stack of pancakes and peanut butter on the side.

“We?! Don’t you mean Harry?!” Harry exclaimed.

I laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

I dug in, and the boys, Paul and Kayla all sat around me and stared.

“You guys know you don’t need an invitation, help yourself, I can’t eat all of this by myself” I said gesturing to the pancakes.

“Thank tha Lord! I was dyin’!” Niall exclaimed, picking up a fork and digging in.

Everyone else picked up their forks and the huge stack of pancakes was gone within a few minutes.

I sat back and rubbed my tummy. “Mhhmm, that was delicious”

“Good! But now you gotta go get dressed! We’re taking you somewhere for a little!” Liam said, shooing me off to the bathroom.

“Wait, what? I thought you guys had a concert” I asked, confused.
