The school day ended and I hadn't seen Hayes all day. We were supposed to meet for lunch, I normally sat with my friends but it wouldn't of bothered me if I didn't.
Finding a seat in the cafeteria when your new can be tough.
After class I walked to the lunch hall and Hayes was nowhere.
I looked for him, checked at his locker but I couldn't find him.
He was probably playing soccer out on the pitches with the lads.
So I sat with my friends feeling kinda guilty that I wasn't with Hayes.
I chatted with Zoe, Anna and Lauren about the party that night and Zoe insisted I wore her white playsuit.
I took it putting it in my locker to bring home later.
Hayes POV
Chemistry class had finished ten minutes ago but I was still standing outside the classroom.
Everyone was outside or having lunch.
My entire body was shaking, my chest felt tight and hurt like hell, every breath I took was short and unsteady.
My mind was reeling, thoughts racing through my head. Bad thoughts. I was panicking.
Why now I thought
I was starting to feel light headed so I sat down on the floor. I didn't know what to do but sit there trembling and shaking waiting for it to stop.
A tall light haired boy walked by bouncing a basketball and stopped when he saw me.
He had a muscular body and green eyes.
" What's up with you?" he said half laughing.
I must of looked like an idiot.
I felt stupid with this massive boy standing over me, laughing. I was caught for words my throat felt choked.
He threw the ball at me but it was too fast and it hit me in the face.
I watched it roll away from me and he picked it up.
I wasn't sure if he deliberately ment to hit me.
"Its- it's just.. Bad anxi-ety" I managed to say trying to take deep breaths.
I struggled trying to hold back my tears.
He nodded uninterested and smirked before walking away from me.
It had been a long time since I had been this bad.

Hazels POV
Waking out of school I was so glad to see Hayes waiting for me leaning up against the bike racks.
He started smiling once he saw me coming.
"Where were you all day?" I asked.
He shrugged his shoulders
"At school I suppose?" he said smirking.
"Seriously I was looking for you everywhere!"
"I don't need you to worry about me Hazel" He assured me "I'm fine"
I decided to drop it and we started walking home sharing a packet of sour patch kids from the vending machine.
He messed around with me trying to catch the sweets in his mouth and pelted me with the flavours he didn't like.
Such a fool.
"What's in the bag?" Hayes asked.
I was swinging my bag back and forth hitting him with it.
"My playsuit for Bens party"
Then I got the idea.
"Hayes you have to come to the party tonight! Everyone will be there"
He made a face scrunching up his nose.
"No I'll pass I'm not a party kind of guy"
I pleaded with him begging him to come. He didn't seem too keen on the idea but he finally gave in.
"Yay!"
I latched onto him giving him a big hug.
He was frowning looking down at the footpath.
"Is it ok if I come over to yours before? So we can go together?" he asked me.
Normally I got ready with all my friends, we made a big deal out of getting ready together and dressing up.
" Of course" I said giving him a smile.
I could call Anna tell her I'll see them there, no big deal.
I hadn't told any of them about Hayes.
I was never really this close to any of my guy friends before.
We reached the end of Melbourne Street and Hayes took his turn to his house.
"I'll call over at seven?" he said walking backwards tripping on a branch.
"Perfect" I called back spinning around so tat I was walking backwards to face him.
We grinned at each other for a while before turning around and heading home.
I was excited to introduce Hayes to all my friends, I didn't get a chance to today.
They were all going to love him, he was such a great guy.
