Hayes POV

I watched her walk away from me. I wanted to run after her and pull her into my arms, feel her small body against mine.

She was going to be with Dylan and I wanted to protect her from the monster that he really was underneath his charms and good looks.

I walked home sneaking up stairs to the bathroom so I could wash the stained blood off my face, throwing a hoodie on to cover my bruises and marks.

I hid ever trace that I was hurt- inside and out.

Nash and some of the boys were down stairs and I hung around with them for a while, it took my mind off things.

Hazels POV

I knocked loudly on Anna's door, seconds later Zoe swung open the door followed by Anna and we left for the mall.

I wasn't in the mood for shopping, or any form of socialising.

I just wanted to go home and lie in bed on my laptop. Call Hayes and hang out for a while.

But of course I ended up in the middle of a crowded shopping centre in our favourite little cafe ordering our usual frappes.

"Tyler! Were over here!"

I'm sure they knew we'd be sitting in our usual booth in a corner.

"Hey guys" Dylan slid in next to me followed by Tyler, James and Luke.

"Sorry were late, we got caught up in a few things and went back to James for a bit" Dylan explained.

We had our frappes and chatted for a while and left to see our movie.

It was a typical boy movie, all action with a story line I couldn't follow.

"Do you like it?" Dylan asked me leaning over to speak in my ear.

I shrugged taking off my jumper.

I felt hot and dizzy, my head was aching.

"I've.. got to go to the bathroom" I said quietly, getting up and leaving the theatre.

I was immediately refreshed by the cool air as soon as I got out. I made my way to the bathroom running the tap and splashed cold water on my face.

I looked up at the mirror seeing a glimpse of the girl I used to be.

Faint scars on my arms, the shadows beneath my eyes, the clear skin where my bruises used to be.

I suddenly felt insecure and pulled my jumper over me.

"Hey"

I jumped with fright, Dylan had been waiting for me outside the bathroom.

"Did I scare you?" He said smirking and pushed me gently against the wall.

"Yeah! Don't do that!" I said nudging his arm.

He laughed putting a hand on my waist.

I brushed him off quickly but he moved in closer to me.

I was engulfed in the smell of his cologne.

"Babe c'mon, you know I want you" he said roughly kissing my neck.

"No Dylan we can't" I said moving my head out of his direction.

He moved a hand along my thigh until he reached my ass grabbing it with his hand.

I jumped.

"I know you like that, don't pretend you don't want it" he whispered running a hand up my waist.

My skin prickled under his touch.

"What's up with you, you used to be so much fun" he said reaching for my boobs.

I flinched away from him but he held me back tighter.

"I am fun" I said stubbornly.

"Prove it"

He pressed his mouth against mine, he started running a hand beneath my shirt and up my chest.

His left hand wandered up my leg, I pushed him off me suddenly.

I was gasping for breath from the intensity of his kiss.

"No Dylan. I said no." I said angrily.

He looked at me his eyebrows narrowed.

"What's gotten into you Hazel? What has Hayes done to you?" he said his face annoyed.

"This has nothing to do with Hayes" I said furiously keeping my distance from him.

"You should he careful with him" Dylan warned me.

"He's good for nothing, an asshole. He doesn't really like you he even told me-Your a slut"

I looked at him steadily staring into his dark blue eyes.

"You don't know what your talking about" I snapped.

He thought I was a slut?

"Oh I do" Dylan said smirking.

"He had plenty to say about you"

I wanted to know everything, what had Hayes said about me?

"Dylan he wouldn't say that about -"

He hit me hard across the face, I clasped a hand against my cheek.

It burned like hell, the feeling was so familiar bringing back memories of my dad that I didn't want to relive.

"You don't know anything" he said coldly.

"You can't trust Hayes like you think you could"

His words stung more than his hit did.

"I can't believe you" I said my eyes were pricking with tears.

I walked quickly from the movie theatre, starting to run when I heard him calling after me.

I went straight home.

I was traumatised from what had happened.

It had been so long since someone had hurt me and the hit Dylan gave me made me remember everything I had tried so hard to forget.

I ran up the stairs and went straight to my room, curling up beneath the covers.

I was spending too much time in my bed, it was probably a bad thing.

Your a slut. You can't trust Hayes like you think you could

The words replayed in my mind again and again.
