"Hey mom, I'm home!"
I shut the door behind me and went straight the the living room.
Netflix was just what I needed, I was exhausted.
"Hazel we ordered Chinese for dinner is that ok?" My mom asked me from the kitchen.
"Yeah that's fine!"
I curled up on the sofa pulling a blanket around me and switched on the tv.
I was just back from the basketball courts, we had met Dylan, James, Tyler and Tom there.
It was a lot like old times, but Dylan was being sweeter and nicer than before.
Anna had told me I should really consider taking him back. After him being such an ass?
She had argued that everyone deserves a second chance.
I didn't know what to think, could I really do that?
I decided not to think about it. I had a great day and I was just tired.
"I'm starving oh my god!" Jack collapsed down on the couch next to me holding his stomach.
"Relax moms ordered takeaway"
Satisfied with my answer he lay back on the cushions and starting watching the show with me.
I noticed how much cleaner the house looked, as though mom had already put her homely touch on it.
I still couldn't believe that she was staying here.
After a while the doorbell rang and Jack jumped up to run and get our food.
He came back with a massive bag of food and the two of us and mom sat down on the carpet, eating straight from the cartons using plastic knifes and forks.
I put on a movie and we sat back against the couches watching it while we finishing our Chinese.
Later on Nash and Cameron called over and they went out to see a movie with Jack.
I spent my night with mom, she did my nails for me since I was so awful at doing them myself.
We watched movie and after movie, mom picking some of her old times favourites that we used to always watch back in our old home.
I found myself drifting in and out of sleep.
I felt two gentle hands wrap a blanket around me and she kissed me lightly on the forehead.
I curled up against the back of the leather sofa, the smooth covering rubbing against my skin and I lapsed into a deep sleep.
