Hazels POV
I was so glad when I saw Hayes running out onto the deck.
All my friends were really drunk and I was a bit frightened.
I was becoming sober again and I was tired, I just wanted to go home.
"Hazel! Are you ok?"
Even in the dark I could see the look of concern in his blue eyes.
I nodded and apologised straight away.
" I'm so sorry I brought you here, I didn't even stay with you"
I had gotten carried away and left Hayes with strangers while I allowed myself get drunk.
I told him everything that happened about the drink and how stupid I was.
When I finished telling him I was nearly in tears.
" Hazel don't worry about, I was fine! I'm bringing you home now ok?
He was so lovely to me I felt like crying.
"Thanks Hayes" I said hugging him tightly.
He helped me up and we left the party at around half eleven.
His lip was cut and bleeding a little.
I asked him what happened but he swatted my hand away and told me it's fine.
Neither of us had jackets and it was freezing walking home.
He wrapped his strong arm around my shoulders and I put my hand around his waist and we strolled home together.
"Wild night eh?" Hayes jokes when we reach my front door.
I rolled my eyes
"Next time can we just stay home watching movies"
"And eating ice-cream" Hayes adds.
"Exactly!"
"Ok go straight to bed when you go in Hazel, you need to rest" he tells me like a little child.
"Ok mom"
He kisses the top of my head and walks down the driveway with his hands in his pockets.
I smile watching him not wanting to close the door.
"Thank you Hayes" I hear myself say.
He turns around
"For everything, thanks"
He looks up from the gate grinning sheepishly at me.
" It's my pleasure" he says with a wink and bowed down to me like I was royalty.
I giggled telling him to we'll talk tomorrow and finally shut the door once he disappeared around the corner of the street.
I leaned up against the door and I couldn't stop smiling.
A/N
I'm sorry if it's confusing but basically Hayes has really bad anxiety and has gotten bullied a lot in his past.
Nash and Hayes moved with their family and Cameron.
( I imagine Cameron younger then what he actually is)
Hazel has been living with her Dad and her brother ever since her mom left to work abroad.
As long as she has lived with her Dad he has abused her and he has a lot of anger problems.
He works away a lot which is why he's not home must of the time and Jack has friends over all the time.
I imagine Hayes a little older then he actually is in real life.
I'm sorry if the chapters are really short.
✌️
Jack was sitting in the lounge once I walked in he put his finger to his lips.
I knew what he meant straight away.
Dad was home.
I apologised to Jack for being late, told him things got out of hand.
He smiled reassuringly at me
"It's fine Hazel, just be quiet going up stairs"
This is what I loved about my brother, he was so understanding.
"Thanks Jack"
He stretched back on the sofa folding up his laptop.
He always feel asleep on the sofa, he just liked to.
I tiptoed up the stairs stepping over the creaky parts of the floor that I had memorised so well.
I was too tired to even begin worrying about my dad.
I made it to my room barely rubbing off all my makeup and plugging my phone in before collapsing on my bed falling asleep.
