Hayes POV

I sat in my room for hours it felt. I didn't turn on the light, letting the room slowly fade from light to darkness.

A thousand thoughts were rushing through my mind.

I heard people coming in and out of the house.

I ignored their calls, I just sat there alone.

I didn't know what time it was, it had gotten pretty late.

Nash had been gone awhile.

I felt myself sweating a bit, my hands couldn't stop fidgeting.

I heard someone running up the stairs, giggling in a high pitched voice. Skylynn.

The door opened slowly.

"Goodnight Hayes! I'm going to sleep" she said about to close the door behind her but she stopped.

"What's wrong Hayes?" her little face scrunched up with worry and she ran over to me, jumping up on the bed with me.

She held my shaking hand.

"Your all shaky and shivery."

My throat felt dry and I could hardly speak, I was hyperventilating.

She pulled the duvet from beneath me and threw it over us. She tucked me in at the sides.

"Mom does that when I'm sick"

she told me smartly and wrapped her body around me in a tight hug.

I gulped, closing my eyes tightly my breathing was getting worse, I tried to calm myself for Skylynns sake but I couldn't help it.

This panic attack was really bad, and it was fuelled by so many different emotions.

Skylynn looked up at me, frightened.

"I'm getting mommy!"she said jumping out of the bed and scurrying out of the room.

I hit my head against the wall, groaning.

I could her Skylynn yelling from downstairs.

"Mom! Hayes is breathing fast again!"

Seconds later my mom was rushing into the room, switched on the light.

"Oh god you look like a ghost!" she gasped, she sat down beside me and pressed her hand against my forehead.

She did what she always did whenever I was really bad.

" Hayes honey it's ok, take deep breaths your ok" she said soothingly, stroking my hair back off my forehead.

I could feel my eyes pricking in tears. I could hardly listen to what she was saying, all I could hear where my own thoughts swarming inside my head.

She looked worriedly at me and looked around the room.

"Here" she said picking up my box of tablets and the water bottle beside it.

"Just take them honey"

She took out two tablets and forced them into my mouth and gave me some water.

My chest felt like it was about to explode.

I managed to swallow the two tablets and my mom told me to lie down properly.

I could see Skylynn at the door, holding a teddy bear looking scared.

I felt terrible.

"Don't worry Hayes, just clear your mind"

I lay there for what felt like ages.

I don't remember falling asleep, or whether the tablets had helped or not.

But somehow I managed to fall asleep, the last thought in mind was Hazel.
