THALIE'S POV

I woke up against my will, sobrang pagod pa ako sa mga nangyayari these past few days and finally, the event we've been preparing ay magaganap na ngayong araw. It's the pageant day, which is the thing I'm mainly nervous about dahil wala naman talaga ako karanasan dito. But I grew up watching Rhian's pageants over the years, I'm pretty sure I can apply everything I've learnt from her.

"Ba't ang aga mo ata nagising ngayon?" Tanong ni Kuya Ethan at sumimsim sa kape niya.

Yes, umuwi ako sa'min dahil namiss ko ulit si Kuya.

"We're having an event." I said shortly.

Nakahain na lahat ng pagkain sa table kaya naman sinaluhan ko na si Kuya, we decided to eat her sa backyard namin kaya tinanaw ko ang kapaligiran habang kumakain.

"Event?" He clarified while I nodded as I tied my hair in a bun, mahangin kasi and it's all over my face if I won't tie it.

"Pageant, lalaban ako." I said nonchalantly.

"What!? And you didn't even informed us kung hindi ko pa itatanong!?" He over-reacted.

"Kuya naman! It's no big deal, I was just trying out new things lang." I calmed him down.

"What are you saying, Princess. Of course big deal 'to! I'm going later."

"You don't have to, Kuya-"

"I will. I'll bring our parents with me later if kakayanin sa scheds nila." Looks like hindi na mababago ang isip niya kaya tumahimik nalang ako.

"Glad to know you're trying out mew things, although you look extra tired these days, I hope you're getting enough rest?" He asked.

I hummed, watching a maid clean our pool, "I'm fine, sanay naman ako sa mga ganito."

"Still, Princess. Tell me whenever you're free, iuuwi kita sa Tagaytay."

I smiled, loving the sound of it, "Okay!"

Hindi nag-tagal ay tumayo na din ako to get ready. I did my morning rituals and made sure na lahat ng gagamitin ko sa pageant later ay nasa sasakyan na. I wore a simple black jogging pants and unzipped black jacket to show my white sando inside, alam ko na iinit din ang temperature mamaya 'e.

I didn't mean to seek attention but everyone turned their heads at me the moment I got out of my car. I'm used to playing it cool kaya hindi ko nalang pinansin ang mga mata nila, deep inside I'm dying! I'm an introvert for petes sake!

"Wala, talo yung mga kalaban sakanya."

"Yeah right, we're going to win! Sina Firsts pa."

"We need to celebrate if they won."

I thanked God the moment I stepped inside our private building, akala ko safe na ako sa dami ng tao but I was wrong! May mga strangers din na nakaupo sa couch, I'm guessing they'll be our stylist team.

"Good morning!" Rhian greeted me with a hug, while all the boys lined up to give me a cheek to cheek greeting.

Napailing nalang ako, "Nasaan si Kylie and Ella?"

Kurt, the last guy on the line, spoke, "They're here already, may pinuntahan lang sa main building."

I looked up to Kurt after smelling an attractive manly but not masangsang scent, he smells good. Hindi ko mapigilan mapapikit when he came closer to kiss my temple, I collected myself after quickly though to 'play it cool' aasarin pa nila ako kung nahibang na naman ako.
