28. Blue
THALIE's POV
Kakatapos lang ng New Year. We all celebrated it with our own families kaya ngayon nalang ulit kami nagkita kita ng Royalties. We decided to also meet up with the principal's daughter today.
"It's okay to recruit someone on our team, Ma'am. But I hope you understand that we won't let your daughter live with us." Deretsong sabi ni Chyros na nasa tabi ko ngayon at nakikikain sa chips ko.
"He's right, I agree." Dagdag ko at sumubo ng chips.
"Ganun ba? Hindi ba mas maganda pag kilalanin kayo ng nga studyante bilang magkakasama parati?" Aniya ng Principal.
"Sorry, Ma'am, it will be extra hard for us to adjust if we all live in the same roof." I explained.
"She's right, I agree." Chyros fist bumped with me.
"Afterall, It's our house so it's our decision." Sabay na sabi namin ni Chyros.
We awkwardly looked at the Royalties na tinitignan kami ni Chyros, tumawa ako dahil nawe-weirduhan yata sila sa'min. We shrugged it off at nagpatuloy sa pagkain ng chips na hawak ko. Naramdaman ko rin ang pag-akbay ni Chyros sa akin with his free arms.
"I understand, it's alright." The Principal agreed.
"Thanks for understanding, Ma'am." Sabay ulit na sabi namin ni Chyros. We are the spokesperson today, hayaan niyo na kami.
Tumayo ako at iniwan sakanya ang chips at tsaka na ako tumabi kay Rhian na kanina pa nakatingin saamin namin ni Chyros.
"Nandito na pala ang anak ko." Sambit ni Principal nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan at niluwa nun ang isang lalaki. Akala ko babae ang anak ng Principal, lalaki pala.
We both had an eye contact the moment he stepped in, we stared at each other hanggang sa binati niya ang ina niya.
"Type ka yata." Bulong ni Rhian.
"Nah, baka familiar lang ako sakanya."
"Royalties, this is my son, Julian Blue Castro." Isa-isa rin kaming pinakilala ni Ma'am. Mukha naman siyang mabait, it's just that ang lalim ng mata niya and he likes eye contacts.
He's wearing a simple white hoodie, jogging pants and a rubber shoes. Ibang-iba sa fashion sense ni Kurt na laging naka-flashy tee shirt or button down, black pants at also flashy shoes.
I accepted his hands when he offered it, now that I've observed him, I think it's safe to say na harmless naman siya dahil mukhang madali pakisamahan. He looked at someone behind me kaya napalingon din ako, there, I saw Kurt with his crossed arms and sexily chewing his gum. Tinaas niya ang kilay niya at ngumisi when our eyes met kaya umirap ako. I wonder what's going on with him again.
"That's Kurt, huwag mo na yan pansinin." I whispered at him and we both laughed. Dumistansya na din siya pagkatapos.
Mayabang ko'ng pinuntahan si Kurt when he was left alone on the side dahil nakipag-socialize na ang lahat 'kay Blue.
"Upset?"
"What for? He's a no match to me." He smirked and pulled me closer to his side. I was suppose to say something shameless but stopped when I saw Chyros approaching.
"Bro, ice cream date lang kami ni Thalie. Hiram lang, promise!" Tuloy-tuloy na sabi ni Chy sa 'kay Kurt at 'di pa niya nakalimutang batiin si Blue kaya napatawa naman silang lahat bago ako tuluyang hinila ni Chy.
**FAST FORWARD**
Nandito na kami ngayon sa isang ice cream parlour dito sa mall. At kasalukuyan kong pinapakinggan ang nage-emote na si Chyros.
"Ikaw na talaga ang dakilang torpe!" Sabi ko at sumubo ng ice cream. Actually may limang baso ng Ice Cream ang nasa harap ko ngayon. Kyahhhhh!! Ang sarap lahat!
May Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Rocky Road, Ube, and Strawberry! Akin lahat yan! And si Chyros naman ay may tatlong Ice Cream which is Strawberry, Chocolate, and a butterscotch ripple ice cream. Takaw namin 'no! Ganyan talaga, si Chyros naman magbabayad.
"Eh kasi naman! I don't wanna look gay pero anong magagawa ko? Gusto 'mong magpaka-Kurt Lawrence Guzman ako sakanya?"
"No, you are not Kurt and you will never be Kurt. Just be Chyros, duhh!" I flipped my hair.
"Tss. Tapang rin ni Kurt, after confessing his feelings tsaka ka agad niligawan." Napangiti ako.
"Well, Kurt once said that wasting time was not worth it at all at narealize ko din yun kasi may mga times talaga na mapapasabi ka nalang ng sana ginawa ko na 'to or yan edi sana matagal mo ng naranasan yung saya or something." I am trying to make it obvious to him na kapag nag-confess siya kay Kylie baka mas sumaya na siya at ayoko siyang magsisi kapag huli na ang lahat.
"How 'bout you? Aren't you wasting a lot of time na sana sinagot mo na si Kurt ng maaga, mamaya dumating sa point na mawala na yung nararamdaman niya because of how long you take time."
Natigilan ako sa narinig 'kong maliit na boses sa ulo ko. Damn. May feeling akong sobrang nakaka-kaba.
"Thalie to real world! Nakikinig ka ba, Thalie?" Halos mapa-talon ako nang pumitik si Chyros sa mismong harap ng mukha ko.
"Sorry, what was that again?"
"Tss, I am saying na you have a point. But, where could I have a courage to talk about it with her."
"Trust me. Ako ng bahala sa lovestory niyo." Napangiti ako.
"How?" Ako na bahala dyan.
