5.2 Pageant
RHIAN's POV
I'm so kinikilig to them talaga. Okay, alam ko namang medyo maypagka-konyo ako, pero pagbigyan niyo nalang ako puwede? Ganito talaga ako kapag kinikilig HAHAHAHAHA!
Kakatapos lang ng QnA portion at ang ibig sabihin lang ay talent portion na ang susunod. Actually, Kurtlie isn't new to this, siguro pang-limang experience na nilang mag-pageant together as mag-partner. Yun din ang dahilan kung bakit hindi kami ganung nag-focus sa pageant na ito at mas nag-focus talaga kami sa event.
May dalawang box sa stage, yun ang nagsilbing upuan nila. Paryas rin silang may hawak na gitara at sabay rin ang tugtog nila. This is what I really like about them, they have a lots of similarities, at isa na doon ang hilig nila sa musika.
"When the days are cold and the cards all fold and the saints we see are all made of gold." Si Kurt ang kumanta ng first line. Agad naman na nagtilian lahat sa Gymnasium dahil sa lalim ng kanyang boses.
"When your dreams they fail and the one's we hail are the worst of all and the bloods run stale." Thalie said that she isn't a singer, well it's true, she can just sing but she mostly rap kung sakaling may performance number kami.
Mas lalong lumakas ang hiyawan, maybe because it's their first time to year Thalie's singing voice. Tsaka isa pa, Kurtlie is crowd's favorite.
"I want to hide the truth, I want to shelter you but when the beast inside there's nowhere we can hide." Kurt sang that line.
"No matter wgat we breed, we still made of greed, this is my kingdom come.. This is my kingdom come." They both sang in chorus. I must say that their voice were opposite, malalim ang boses ni Kurt pero kay Thalie ay matinis, but their voice manage to match each other. One thing na nagpapanalo sa kanila sa pageants.
Natapos ang kanta at nagawa pa nilang bumirit sa last part. Even Kurt na masculine ang voice ay nagawa niya pa'ng back-upan si Thalie. They are really great!
"Thanks for the heart thumping talents of yours." The Emcee said, agad silang nagpasalamat bago sila bumalik sa backstage at sumunod ang isa pa'kandidata.
Napagdesisyunan namin'g sumunod sa back stage para kamustahin sila. Para na rin syempre bigyan sila ng tubig.
"Your performance are awesome." Bungad namin. At dahil maputi silang dalawa, kitang-kita ang pamumula nilang dalawa.
KURT'S POV
Everything went smoothly, buti nalang talaga at hindi kami nagkamali, we need to win this pageant kahit may pagkapambading. Tss.
Halos makapatay na rin ako dito sa pananamantala nila sa paghiyaw kay Thalie. Buti nalang talaga at walang swimwear, kung hindi baka bumaba ako para pumatay. Wala silang karapatan makita ang kahit anong parte ng katawan niya na kahit ako ay hindi ko pa nakikita =_____=
"Ayos ka lang?" Tanong ko nang maramdaman ko ang pagbuntong hininga niya. Tsss, I understand. Pagpalit palang ng damit nakakapagod na, kaya alam ko'ng pagod na siya. Her gown are also heavy.
"I'm okay, just feeling lazy." She said, at naniwala naman kaagad ako, tamad na rin kasi ang boses niya.
"Magpahinga ka muna." Umupo siya sa couch kaya tumabi na ako sakanya. Well, its still long way to go, marami pa'ng contestant ang magpe-perform.
"Hey! Can I get your number? You seem so nice, a-and I am thinking if we should go out sometimes. Wala ka naman girlfriend diba?" Napakunot ako ng noo, she's the contestant number eight. Her skin are fair, shoulder length hair and her eyes are pretty attractive. I will lie if I say that she isn't beautiful but not as beautiful as my Thalie.
