15. Prince
CHYROS' POV
Kakabalik ko lang dito sa Lee University, well, its been three hours since I've been chilling at the house at siguro naman ay nahanap na ng secretary ang Journal na kailangan ko.
I'm currently walking here at the corridor, on my way to the office. Di ko nga kasi alam kung anong klaseng halloween event yun, and I need to know so that we, Royalties, can organize it.
Tss, Kylie should be with me dahil paryas kami ng role sa Royalties which is Reporter pero ang babae naisipan 'pang mag-mall, pasalamat yun maganda siya.
I opened the door as soon as I arrived, naabutan kong nag-aayos ng gamit ang secretary.
"Where is it?" Bungad ko.
"Ay sir, kayo na po pala yan, eto po." Sabi niya sabay abot saakin ng kailangan ko. Nang makuha ko na, I didn't waste my time at umalis na ako and headed to our place.
"Eto na guys." Sabi ko at nilapag ang folder sa center table.
"OMG! Excited na ako dito! Sheez, sorry Chy, di kita nasamahan dito." React ni Kylie, I just smiled to her. Malakas siya sa akin eh.
Rhian was the one who read it and also the one who explained, "Guys, gaganapin ito sa open field still located here at the University. Black and White ang theme color. All students should wear costumes before attending the event. Kukuha rin tayo ng magiging emcee." Rhian.
"What if si Ashley and Crisha nalang, tutal sila ang pinakamatalino at pinakaconfident sa second section." Talie suggested habang kumakain ng burger.
"Takaw ni Thalie, ayaw magbigay." Napataas siya ng kilay sa sinabi ko.
"Bwisit ka!" Sigaw niya at binato saakin ang sapatos niya. Ouch! Heels pa naman yun.
"Okay back to the topic." Rhian said na parang di ako muntik mamatay sa killer heels ni Thalie.
"So guys, excited ako sa costumes niyo! Share naman ng ideas, for me , Harley Quinn nalang kaya?!" Rhian cheerfully said.
"Come on, I'll dress prettily this time. Fairy's the right choice for that." Walang fairy na nagbabato ng sapatos, Thalie. Hmp!
"White lady nalang ako." Kylie laughed, "Wanna scare a lot of people for this year's halloween."
"Joker!" Napatingin kami kay Earl at napuno ng hiyawan ang kuwarto.
"Ayieeeee! Joker and Harley!!!" Tukso ni Kylie.
"SHUT UP! ITS JUST COINCIDENCE!" They yelled.
"In-denial na nga, defensive pa!" I said and Rhian just rolled her eyes. Sorry naman, mapang-asar lang talaga ako.
"Basta kahit ano na dyan!" Shawn shrugged.
"Guys, I'll go ahead. May klase na ako in ten minutes." Thalie said at tumayo.
"Ingat ka ha." Sabi ni Rhian habang inaayos ni Thalie ang bag niya.
"Thanks, kayo din!" She kissed my cheek since I'm the closest person next to her and gave a flying kiss to the rest. Thalie's sweet to me sometimes.
THALIE'S POV
Dumeretso ako sa main building pagkalabas ko ng private place. I still have a few minutes so I'm walking quickly lang. I was about to come inside the elevator when someone tapped me behind.
"Hey, Nathalie!" An unfamiliar man greeted me with a flirty smile.
"Oh hey, need anything?" I replied, trying my best to sound polite and friendly but I'm actually panicking inside. I'll be late if I chitchat with this guy!
Ngumisi siya sa mga iba pa na mga lalaking kasama niya bago niya ibalik ang tingin niya sa'kin, "A friend of mine just opened her new cafe, wanna grab some coffee with me later?"
"You mean date?" I asked, not beating around the bush.
"Later na agad? I'm a bit busy-"
"It won't take long, iuuwi kita agad if you want me to." He cut me off and gave me a small grin. He's hot. Kurt's hotter and more gentleman though.
"Pretty sure you know the first prince, Kurt?" I asked with a chuckle.
"Your possessive suitor, I can play fair with him." As if. Get lost, playboy.
"It's time for me to go." I smiled before turning around to leave.
"Gonna pick you up later!" Oh God, save me.
Mabilis na ang naging galaw ko, our professor ay 3 minutes early pa and good thing that she didn't get mad when I arrived.
"You may sit, Miss Ferrer." I sighed in relief, buti hindi galit! Tss, maaga rin kasi siya.
**FAST FORWARD**
3 hours ang itinagal ng lecture na 'yon. We're gonna do a research din kaya inumpisahan ko na mismo ang pag-iisip ng main topic at paggawa ng draft. I can't waste time, even a second, I'm part of the Royalties at laging packed up ang schedules namin. I need to manage my time wisely.
I was fixing my stuffs while praying to God na sana wala na ang lalaking kinausap ako kanina. I hope he's not gonna pick me up for real. Ugh! It would be burdensome.
But if ever he's actually waiting outside, how will I reject his offer? Gabi na din and I'm honestly really tired. Bahala na nga, wala naman siyang magagawa kung sabihin kong pagod na ako.
Lumabas na ako ng room and luckily wala yung guy na yun. Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad at ng matapat ako sa lift pinindot ko ang open button. I was waiting patiently, playing with my heels by tapping it on the ground and making a beat.
May kumalabit sa balikat ko. Don't tell me, siya ito? For my sake, please, sana hindi siya! Dahan-dahan akong lumingon and I mentally slapped myself, when can I fucking take a break!?
"Oh, hey!" I said and slide my fingers through my hair locks, hiding my frustration.
"So, shall we go?" Tanong niya.
Shit.
Sabay kami napatingin nang tumunog ang lift, indicating na pabukas na ang metal door ng elevator.
"What's taking you long, Thalie?" Kurt approached us with a frown on his face. Hulog talaga ng langit pero bakit parang pinagsakluban siya ng langit at lupa?
He's clearly pissed but still took my bag to carry it for me. I stopped myself from smiling to hide my flustered ass.
"Nag-overtime si Miss Hidalgo." Ackward ko'ng sabi.
"Let's go home. Royalties are waiting for you." He said with a full manly voice while eyeing the guy in front of me with his eyebrows slightly raised.
"Sorry bro, Nathalie and I have plans for tonight." Ngumisi ng sarkastiko si Kurt at tinignan ako, asking for confirmation.
Masuyong hinapit ni Kurt ang bewang ko, "Aalis kayo, mahal?" He asked, whispering at me.
Nanghina ako sa tono ng boses na ginamit niya, he sounded kinda scared to hear my answer.
"No, uuwi na tayo." I smiled at him softly.
