THALIE'S POV
Kasalukuyan naming kinakain ang niluto namin nila Rhian and Kylie. Well, ang masasabi ko lang. Ang sarap ng niluto namin. I am so proud of ourselves!
Finally, may matino na rin kaming naluto ni Rhian. Mostly kasi si Kylie at Chyros lang ang nagluluto para saamin. Earl's good at cooking but he's 24/7 lazy and tanggap ng lahat na they are the mom and dad in our group.
"Ang lamig ngayon." 'Di napigilang sabihin ni Shawn habang niyayakap ang nandidiring si Earl. It seems like he needs help.
"Bro, pogi ako pero 'wag ka naman mabading. Masisira pagkakaibigan natin nito 'e." Naiinis na sabi ni Earl.
"Sexual harass-tion 'to." Dagdag ni Earl.
"Tanga! Sexual Harassly." Shawn corrected.
"Sexual harassment." Pakikisawsaw ko, massaging my temple.
"That's what I said! Shawn, pinapasakit mo ulo namin." Earl scoffed.
The atmosphere is calm at mahinang tawanan lang ang pinagsasaluhan naming lahat. The cool breeze is also refreshing, I love it when we spend time like this.
"Why don't we celebrate christmas together in Singapore." Rhian suddenly suggested. She looked at all of us, halatang nag-aantay kung payag kami o hindi.
"I want to but I can't, I need to spend christmas with my family." I refused the offer. I mean it would be a great idea naman if hindi lang sana mag-crash yung plans ko with my family.
"Same with me, I promised my family na kasama nila ako sa pasko this year." Ella also rejected the offer.
Akala ko ay masasaktan si Rhian ngunit tumaas ang kilay ko nang ngumisi siya, "Actually, I already asked y'all's parents naman and they all agreed."
Kylie gasped, "Si Dad napapayag mo!?"
"Bro, my Mom would cry if I won't spend Christmas eve with them. Napapayag mo talaga?" Shawn laughed.
"What can I say? I'm the sweetest, I'm everyone's favorite!" Rhian flipped her hair.
"If that so then why do you need to ask if you already have the answer?" Earl scoffed playfully.
"Stay bitter, Earl. I'm the favorite, not you." Rhian scoffed, pinipikon na naman si Earl as always.
Akmang manlalaban pabalik si Earl ngunit palaro na siyang inawat nila Chyros, napailing nalang ako at tumayo na pagkatapos ko'ng kumain. I'm on my way to the kitchen para ilagay na ang dirty dishes sa lababo.
Bigla ko naalala ang kuya ko, we haven't spend time together for a long time now at ang pangako namin sa isa't isa na bumisita sa lolo't lola namin ay parating nauudlot. But I wanna be an understanding sister, I don't wanna demand anything from him because I know he's also having a hard time. Taking care of our family business while studying, that must've been tough.
"You okay?" Narinig ko ang boses ni Shawn, mukhang kakapasok niya lang.
"Yeah, may naalala lang."
"Do you have any problem?" He asked once again.
"Don't worry, bebe ko." I lovingly pinched his cheeks. He might be an idiot most of the time but I know I can count on him whenever I have a problem.
"You sure?" I forced myself na mag-labas ng mala-totoong ngiti para mapanatag ang loob niya. Kung may problema 'man ako ngayon, wala akong balak maging pabigat sa grupo namin. Royalties don't have to know everything about me, I just need them to stay with me.
