Rhaenar rolled over in the bed and reached out blindly for the other inhabitant. She was asleep next to him still and Rhaenar pulled her close. His shoulder length black hair fell around his face as he kissed up her neck, her cheek, and finally her lips. "Glad to see you're awake, your grace," she murmured, her eyes still closed.
"As if you were pretending this entire time," he taunted her. She grinned, shifting slightly so that his morning desire rubbed against her thigh. Rhaenar groaned, placing all his weight on her and kissing her deeply. He was just starting to find a rhythm when there was a pounding on his door. Rhaenar cursed in Nordic and jumped up, waving his hand putting his trousers on with magic. Rhaenar fazed through the door and startled young Bram, son of Bronn and Shae. Obara Sand was behind him, but her expression remained tranquil as she faced the burning one of Rhaenar. "There better be a logical explanation for this," he demanded.
"Your father has returned to the Red Keep and has summoned you and your siblings back to the fortress. He said return, no matter your state," Obara answered, allowing Bram to hide behind her. Rhaenar growled and turned to look at the courtesan, who was giving him the pouty look.
"I'm sorry, my love, but when the Hand calls-"
"The Fingers must answer, I know. I'll see you later," she said as she grabbed a silken cover and shielded her naked body from Bram's stunned eyes. Rhaenar nodded and snapped his fingers, conjuring his clothes onto his body. He was wearing leather trousers, combat style boots, a loose green shirt, and a high collared leather trench coat. His black hair was magically up in a pony tail and he started walking through the halls of one of Bronn's special houses. His two companions followed behind him.
"Why do you risk your good name by coming to these houses?" Obara asked and Rhaenar glanced over his shoulder at her.
"What am I risking? You two can see me, but everyone else sees whatever illusion suits me at the time. Only the girls know it's me and they're paid handsomely to keep their mouths shut. I'm not concerned at all," Rhaenar answered as they stepped outside the brothel. He closed his eyes and concentrated, teleporting all three of them to the Red Keep. Bram wobbled a bit and Obara had to catch him. She was used to the teleportation, but he was still learning to find his 'magic legs' as they were called.
"I can imagine your parents don't approve," Bram pointed out.
"My mother has become more protective as we grew up; it's actually very annoying. I'm surprised some of us are allowed to do as much as we do. Father is more lenient, probably because he's trying to not take a page out of Odin's book. He lets us do what makes us happy as long as it's within reason. I think my penchant for visiting Uncle Bronn's pleasure houses are within reason," Rhaenar stated. That was when he stopped walking, closed his eyes again and reached out with his mind. Brother. We've been called by Father. He's back in Kings Landing.
I'm meditating right now. You know your dreams are very interesting... if you really want a threesome that bad, just ask. I'm sure the girls would be happy to oblige you, was the sarcastic response. Rhaenar rolled his eyes behind his lids.
What did I tell you about looking into my dreams? Just because you're the 'Dream Catcher' doesn't give you the right to look inside my mind, the elder brother pointed out.
Consider it practice for the both of us.
"You and Dhaerin arguing again?" asked another voice and Rhaenar looked up. A pretty, petite girl with dark hair and green-blue eyes was standing in front of him. Her dress of pale silver clung to her frame, and she wore a wolf pendant around her neck.
"Hello, littlest sister," Rhaenar greeted.
"I hate it when you call me that," she reminded as they started walking towards their family's suite of chambers.
