Loki was meditating when he received another mental communication from Rhaenar. He was sitting on the balcony of his suite of rooms in the Red Keep and Fenris was laying behind him. Father, Ragna has a request to make of you, Rhaenar said without greeting.
Well, hello to you too. What is Ragna's desire? Loki asked as he felt Fenris stir behind him. Fenris could feel his half-brother's magic and knew that his half-sister was also involved.
She wants Valerian steel turned into modern weapons to do a test run when she combats the Wight Walkers. Her minder is going to be assessing them for mass production for Midgardian militaries, Rhaenar explained.
Her minder? Who did you both request? Loki asked.
She took on the former best friend and brother-in-arms of the Captain of America; James Buchanan Barnes. He is called the Winter Soldier and is, or was, an assassin, Rhaenar said.
I once considered using his memory against Captain Rogers. How ironic that now Ragna will use him to her advantage. Whom have you chosen? Loki posed.
I have selected one called the Scarlet Witch. She is the result of humans playing with powers they do not comprehend. Her 'magic' comes from experimentation with the Mind Stone, Rhaenar answered. Loki's eyes snapped open at this and Fenris sensed his father's unease.
Have a care around that stone, Rhaenar. The Infinity Stones are cognizant things. The Mind Stone talked to me just as much as... he... did. It will whisper to you. The closer you are to it, the more it tries to control you, Loki warned his son.
Ragna and I have already told the being who guards it in no uncertain terms that we will eliminate him should he give us good enough reason to, Rhaenar said.
And I'm sure Ragna told him. Anyway, she'll send the schematics and I'll create them. Anything else she might need? Loki queried.
I believe she would appreciate it if Fenris was given to her for the test run combat, Rhaenar responded before he cut the connection. Loki's eyes opened and he glanced over his shoulder at Fenris. The wolf was gazing back at him with his emerald eyes.
"Don't worry, Fenris. You'll be joining your sister and brother shortly," Loki assured Fenris. The wolf huffed and walked away. Loki watched him before he stood up and his mind reached out to his dragon. "Rhaegal, jeg trenger deg for å moter våpen for Ragna. Vær så snill, bli med meg i smia (Rhaegal, I need you in order to fashion weapons for Ragna. Please, join me in the Forge)," Loki commanded.
The Forge was a cave down by the beach of Blackwater Bay. It was tucked away between the crags and only a few people knew it existed. There was a hidden passage that led to it from the pits beneath the Red Keep. The only visitors Loki got in the Forge were Sansa, Tyrion, Bronn, and Oberyn. None of his children had ever seen it, and even Daenerys had not been down to visit his lair. There was a space Loki had carved in the stone for Rhaegal to crawl into so that he might keep the fire burning. Loki had all the tools a smithy needed, and he went to it without delay. Rhaegal had already taken up his position and was stoking the forge with his own flames. "Bra jobb, Rhaegal. Vi kommer i gang med en gang. Ragna vil bli utålmodig (Good job, Rhaegal. We'll get started at once. Ragna will get impatient)," Loki said as he stripped off his shirt and wrapped his hands in leather bindings before putting vambraces on. His hair was already tied up as he picked up some tongs.
Loki picked up what looked like black powder and threw it into Rhaegal's fire. Loki whispered something in Nordic and conjured up a hammer, bringing it down on the powder. It exploded just as Rhaegal released another burst of flame. With one swipe of his hand, Loki dispelled the fire as his fingers danced over the sparkling dust. Another whispered spell and he amalgamated it into a ball before he flicked his hand again it became a grenade. Loki had been given instructions that these weapons were for an assassin; and thus, he would make them worthy of their bearer. The same method was used for five more grenades. After that, Loki turned his attention to Midgardian, serrated steel style blades. He used a hammer to fashion the Valerian steel and cooled it in water. Loki was in the middle of hammering away when he felt a presence in the cave with him. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw Sansa was petting Rhaegal and admiring the work he had already completed. She was wearing a kimono style robe, and her red hair was up in a Midgardian Asian-like fashion, with a decorative pin holding it up. "Feeling Japanese today?" Loki queried as he continued to pound the metal.
"I just finished reading one your Midgardian books about the 500 samurai and their commander, Saigo Takamori. A brave, but ultimately foolish man. However, I was wearing these clothes before I started reading the book," Sansa responded as she gently kissed Rhaegal's nose. Loki smirked as he continued to fashion the weapons. Sansa turned to face him and watched him work. They had not really spoken to each other since their argument and had even been sleeping in separate chambers since the event. The noise of the hammer striking metal and Rhaegal's loud breathing that filled the cave with sound. Finally, Sansa came upon Loki from behind. Her arms slipped around him, freezing him in the middle of his work. Loki breathed calmly in and out as he felt his wife hold onto him. He felt her lips touch the scar from the Kursed's spear upon his back and eventually her tongue dancing around the edges.
"Is this make up sex?" Loki asked as he slowly placed the hammer down and put aside the dagger he was making.
"Yes and no. We were both wrong to react the way we did. And one would think after twenty years of marriage, we would know how to communicate with one another," Sansa said as she reached up and untied Loki's hair. Her fingers threaded their way into his locks before yanking his head back. Loki hissed from between grinning teeth and turned his green gaze on his wife. Sansa placed her lips by his ear and whispered, "Never assume again that I compare you to Odin. You are nothing like him, and I have never thought you were."
"Never again, dearest," Loki responded as Sansa nibbled on his earlobe. That was when Loki turned the tables and spun them around, bending Sansa over the forge table and dangerously close to the heat. Loki's hands snaked their way over her stomach and breasts, unlacing the kimono and cupping her in an intimate manner. Sansa gasped and arched into his touch. Loki lifted her robe up and dropped his own trousers. When they were joined, they both sighed in relief. Loki looped his arm around her waist and pulled her rather harshly against him. Sansa felt the air knocked out of her lungs.
"Ah!" she cried out when a particularly hard thrust sent her thighs into the stone. Rhaegal growled and Loki snarled at his dragon. Sansa laid herself down on the rock, her fingers dancing close to the sparks of the forge. Loki pulled her kimono down and lavished her back and shoulders with kisses and light nips. Sansa allowed herself to be used as her nails dug into the stone. Loki slowed down after a while to stave off both their orgasms. He pulled her back up and pressed his face into her red hair. "Oh! Min elskede! Moren til barna mine; kjærligheten i mitt liv (My beloved! The mother of my children; the love of my life!)," Loki passionately whispered in her ear. Sansa suddenly pushed back and knocked him off her. Loki fell back for half a second before Sansa's foot touched his shoulder and her toes hooked behind his ear, pulling him back towards her. If there was one thing Loki loved it was his wife's flexibility. It had come from years of practice. Sansa gasped as he entered her again and he had her wrap her other leg around him. Loki and Sansa looked deeply into each other's eyes and kissed one another, all tongue and teeth. When they broke apart, Sansa leaned forward."Give me another baby. I want another spawn of mischief in my womb!"
"As my lady commands!" Loki responded.
