Magdamag akong umiyak, pilitin ko man na hindi umiyak ay naiiyak pa din ako. I just got rejected. It hurts.

They fix some things pa but they told me to get some beauty rest. Yeah I need rest, rest from feeling the pain.

"You ready baby?" Maligayang tanong ni mommy.

"I am." I smiled.

I might not be okay but I'm ready for this. Thinking of all the training I've went through and ria, mom and mandy pushing me to win the crown i think that's more than enough to be ready.

Time pass like a blur.

Nasa school na ako at ina ayusan ni Mandy. My mom and dad isn't around yet dahil may meeting sila but they promised na hahabol sila.

"Alam ko naman na mananalo ka but still give it your best shot ha? Show them what you have worked for lalo na sa crush mong si Blue." Ngumiti pa siya saakin saka kumindat.

I fake a smile. I don't want Mandy to worry about my broken heart, he has been very nice and patient with me. One reason to win.

Everyone is nervous and excited dahil nag sisimula na.

Patricia and Yellie is kind of shouting at each other earlier but I need not to mind them. I have to focus on this.

"I won't take much of your time, I know you guys are equally excited as I am to meet the 23 lovely candidates competing for the crown of Miss University, so here they are ladies in gentlemen!" The host introduce us and I heard the crowd getting wild.

Inhale-exhale Haiz! You can do it!

When it's my turn I feel like my heart escaping from my lungs.

"Hailey Zairyl Mendres, 16 representing Junior High!" I earned a warm welcome and applause from the crowd. I saw Ria beside Cross chanting my number.

The pageant is happening so fast pace for me. They're now choosing the top 15.

I got in!

2 more, top 10 and top 5 and I'll get the crown. I'll take home the crown.
