Renesmee
Just like I thought, Anthony went from scooting from place to place, to crawling. He started doing that a couple of days after we came home. It was so cute to see him crawl everywhere now and whenever he got excited (which was all the time) he's rock back and forth on his knees and give us all that cute cheeky grin. Mom most definitely enjoyed getting videos on Snapchat of him doing that.
Anthony also started to say more words as well. His favorite word was "pizza" and of course "Mommy". One of the phrases he has been saying a lot lately was "I like that." something he got from cousin Caroline. She often had the tendency to state the things she likes such as chicken nuggets, chocolate milk, the list goes on. We've only seen Jake's family once since we came home and that was when we were at Billy's for dinner. We announced our pregnancy and I was attacked with hugs from both of Jake's sisters while Paul and Solomon gave Jake slaps on the back. The kids didn't really know what was going on but they were excited because everyone else was. Billy smiled to himself and when my arms were free I bent down to hug him. I'm really glad that Anthony and our little baby would grow up with their cousins. I couldn't wait until Anthony got big enough to run around with Forrest, a part of me really wanted Anthony to have a baby brother to wrestle and go on adventures with. Another part of me wanted a precious little girl to be my princess and buy tutus and tiaras for. Either way, I'd be equally happy.
Truthfully, I haven't seen much of the other imprints since announcing my pregnancy to Jake's family. Emily was enjoying her babymoon with Sam and Dove and I knew Kim and Jared were especially busy with the holidays. I really couldn't wait to see them and share the amazing news.
Morning sickness was an annoying thing I had to get used to again. It wasn't bad like it was with Anthony and maybe that's because my body has been through it before and knows what to expect. Didn't mean I had to like that part of pregnancy though. My diet stayed relatively the same but I've been wanting blood a lot more. I don't think I could wait for Grandpa's new order to come, I went through the first batch rather quickly. Jake would be home soon, maybe if I asked really nicely, he'll go get me a nice elk.
I was relaxing in bed with Anthony, having a lazy morning since I got up way too early from getting sick. I turned on some Disney show for him and grabbed a couple of books so he'd be distracted while I tried to get myself together. He had to be getting hungry though and as much as I wanted to lay in bed all day, I had mommy duties.
"Anthony, what do you want for breakfast today?" I asked him.
He thought for a moment, "Pizza!"
Of course.
I laughed and kissed his little cheek before carrying him downstairs, "Maybe for lunch, how about Cheerios and eggies?"
"Eeyos and eggies!" he shouted with his arms in the air.
"Would you like a little bit of toast with that?"
"Toast." he nodded.
I loved that he was starting to say new words. He kinda reminded me of a little parrot, repeating back everything me and Jacob would say. That meant I'd have to remind Uncle Emmett to keep his mouth clean around him.
I made Anthony's breakfast and decided to get Jake's breakfast ready for him too since he walked in through the door. He came in and gave A.J. a fist bump and me a soft kiss.
"How was work?" I asked as whisked up his eggs.
He usually went to work a little bit later, he opened up the garage today.
"Slow, oh so slow." he placed his hand on my tummy, "Are you feeling any better?"
I shrugged, "I'll live. But can you pretty please go grab me something to drink after lunch? I'm on my last pouch."
