Richard's P.O.V

"Richard, are you awake yet?" Nem asked from outside of his door, making Richard begin to panic as girls weren't allowed in the boy's dorm.

"Nem?! What are you doing here?!" Richard asked. "I said to wait for me at the entrance! Just go before someone sees you!"

"You'd better hurry up. We're all already waiting for you!" Nem said angrily before he heard her stomping down the hallway outside. And after sighing to himself, Richard made sure that he was dressed to impress before he started judging himself in the mirror.

"So? How do I look?" Richard asked.

"Like you're going on a date." Mark said begrudgingly behind him. "Stop asking my advice when you have three girlfriends compared to my zero."

"Someone's a little jealous, isn't he?" Richard asked with a wide grin before Mark threw a comb at him.

"Hurry up and get lost before I throw you out of the window!" Mark yelled, and Richard quickly left the room while laughing until he made his way out of the dorm and met the girls at the academy's entrance, just as they'd planned. And while Richard had been planning to try to pursue Koko on their unexpected day off, the other girls had grown somewhat jealous as he'd eaten with her the other day instead of with them during lunch. So, in order to keep all of them happy, he'd made sure to go on a date with them. After all, gaining one girl wouldn't be worth it if he lost the other three, right? And managing harems was a lot harder than it sounded.

"Sorry I'm late!" Richard laughed as he ran up to where the three were waiting for him.

"Geez, it's the girls that are supposed to be late, not the guys!" Rem shouted angrily at him as soon as he arrived.

"It doesn't matter now that he's here. Let's just go!" Donna said happily before attaching herself to his arm and beginning to drag him in the direction of Goldgate.

"Hey! Don't just cling onto him like that!" Nem yelled out in protest while Hannah followed them quietly.

"Richard, just a moment please." Hannah suddenly said behind them before holding out a box to him.

"Hm? What's this?" Richard asked curiously.

"A gift." Hannah replied before she opened it to reveal a black wrist chain. "It's been enchanted so that it aides in the wearer's magic control. It should help you, seeing as you have so much MP."

"T-thank you, Hannah, but was it really okay for you to get this?" Richard asked, thinking that such an item would be incredibly expensive.

"It costed me a year's worth of wages that I get from helping my mother." Hannah replied. "But I won't be able to get the money back even if I returned it, so please..."

"Wow, I don't know what to say..." Richard said happily as he immediately put the chain on his left wrist, thinking that it would be a great item to have even after he graduated from the academy.

"Ah! No fair Hannah!" Nem complained loudly.

"I didn't get you anything. Sorry Richard." Donna said sadly.

"Don't worry about it." Richard attempted to calm down the other two. "For now, let's just go into town, alright? And please, don't get me anything. Let's just focus on having fun!"

"Alright!" The girls all chorused, thankfully putting the matter to rest before they all went into town and immediately went to the local theater in order to watch one of their noon plays, which was the equivalent to a movie in Elnor.
