Highschool | May x Drew [PART TWO]
"Hey, Ash." I said, walking past Ash. "Have you seen Drew? I need to thank him for helping me with my Geography test, I managed to pass!"
"Oh... uh, I don't know... I haven't seen Drew today. Er, I think I left my microwave on! Bye!" He sprinted away.
"What on earth?" I muttered as I walked through school.

I continued walking I saw Brendan, Paul and Silver. Brendan growled as he walked past and shoved me. I sighed and continued walking until I felt someone grab my arm and drag me behind a building.
"H-hey! What's the deal?!" I looked up to see Silver.
"Shut up, idiot. Brendan'll hear." He covered my mouth. After a while, he removed his hand.
"So, what is it?!"
"It's Drew." He muttered.
"What about him?"
"He's in the hospital."
"Wait, what?! What happened to him?!"
"I do not know the details myself, but I think you should go check up on him. We're in the same class for History so I'll cover for you."

"Thanks." I nodded and was about to sprint off but I stopped. "Hey... why are you being so nice to me?"
He looked at me with his cold eyes. "Because Drew's my friend. Plus, I owe him." He put his hands in his pockets and began walking away.
I nodded and started sprinting to the hospital. Silver never specified which hospital but there was only one hospital in our area so unless he was hurt in a different town, he would be placed in that specific hospital.

I pushed the front doors open and ran to the register.
"Good day, how may I help you?" The nurse at the desk asked.
"I'm looking for Drew Hayden."
"Drew... Hayden?" She began typing something on her computer and nodded. "Are you family?"
"No, I'm just a close friend."
"I see. Well, he's in room 255, but I'll need you to sign this paperwork before you enter because you're not family."

I groaned and hastily began signing my name. Once I was done I sprinted off to room 255 which was on the second floor. When I got there I opened the door to see Drew sitting up on the hospital bed with a bandage around his head. He turned over to see me and smiled.
"Well hello June!" He greeted happily.
I panted from exhaustion and shut the door behind me. "Are you okay?"
"Oh, yeah I'm fine! Just felt a little sick, that's all."
"Uh Huh..." I sat down on the chair beside his bed. "Then why're you in the hospital?"
"Heh, well you see I was visiting my parents and while I was there I felt a little dizzy and woooooosh, everything turned black and I woke up here with a bandage around my head."
"YOU CALL THAT A LITTLE SICK?!"
"Hey, it's not like I died or anything."
"You idiot!" I slapped him. "Do you have any idea how worried I was?!"
"Awwww." He smirked. "Was June worried about meeee?"
I crossed my arms and grumbled. "Shut up. I just wanted to brag that I passed my Geography test."
"You did?" He asked. "Awesome!"
"So, did you pass?"
"Did I pass? June, I am a God at Geography, of course I passed."

Suddenly, the door swung open and a nurse came walking in.
"I'm sorry miss, but we need to do a check-up on Mr Drew to see if he could be discharged from the hospital anytime soon."
I nodded. "You better get discharged soon." I said sternly. "If you don't I'll kill you."
He laughed and saluted. "Yes ma'am."
I giggled before walking out and heading back to the school.

Drew POV
"Thanks a lot, Nurse Joy. Who knows what she would've done if she knew the truth." I laughed. "She'd probably kill me and kill me after death again!"
Nurse Joy giggled and took out the needle I was used to by now. "Do I have to use the baby needle again or are you fine with the big boy one?" She laughed. I rolled my eyes.
"The big boy one, thanks."
"Okay, after this you'll be discharged. You should take care of yourself more, Mr Drew."
"Yeah, yeah."

After a while, my blood was taken and I was allowed out of the hospital.
"See you next month, Mr Drew." A nurse said. "And this time don't come back with a bloody forehead."
I chuckled, "yeah, yeah. See ya next month."
