Okay so I was at a dumpling shop enjoying my fresh, steamed, pork dumplings
When this group of boys come into the shop and sit behind me
So I'm still eating whilst listening to their conversation because they're talking so loud I can't help myself
And one dude says something like: oh hey, you guys know that one anime?
"What anime?"
"You know, basically this guy's mum dies and he tries to resurrect her but she ends up as this super weird demon thing."
And that was when I started to listen because I was thinking: "that sounds exactly like full metal alchemist"
And then he says: "yeah, so he used alchemy to resurrect his mum but they didn't have a soul or something so he ended up losing a leg and arm and his brother legit lost his entire body"
At this point I was so tempted to turn around and say: you talking about fullmetal alchemist? You know... if you liked fullmetal alchemist, you'll enjoy Boku no Hero Academia ;)
But no, I didnt.
So I just continued listening whilst trying not to fangirl.
