The Pokémon world is filled with descendants of Gods from Roman mythology, Greek mythology, Christian faith and much more. Due to a generation of trouble makers, various schools were introduced for the sole reason of making sure that the new generation of Gods would fulfil their duty and not stray for evil. One of these schools was Greek Academy. The most prestigious school for descendants of Greek Gods. This school had a clean reputation and was not known for raising trouble makers. But, the only people allowed to join this school were the favoured descendants.
If a family has more than one child, the original God they are descended from chooses one child to be their successor. That child is then sent to whichever school of their choice with no price. The other child, however, must attend a different school.
That is the way of the world.
Once the child has graduated from their school, then they are sent to Earth to watch over the humans of the world and lead them in life.
Then that child will then have a family of their own and with that family comes a new successor, and the cycle repeats itself over, and over.
That is the way of the Gods.

"May! Get up! It's time to go to school!" I heard my mum yell from the kitchen. I grinned and walked over to her.
"I'm already awake." I smirked. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. "Of course you wake up early the day you're leaving the house."Max came over and sat on the kitchen table, crunching his cereal. "Yeah, because she has to be the favoured one." He grumbled.
I grinned mischievously at him. "That's because you mostly take after dad. I, on the other hand, take from mum." I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Shut up, you're still a half blood like me." He hissed.
"But I'm gonna become a God." I teased.
"Yeah, if you graduate that is."Mum frowned and went between us. "Enough fighting. May, your dad is waiting for you in the car, you better go if you don't wanna be late."
I nodded and hugged her tightly, the smell of her lavender perfume was so strong it got stuck in my nostrils. "I'll miss you." I whispered in her ear.
"I'll miss you too." She whispered back.We let go and I walked past Max. "I'll miss you too you little brat!" I yelled before walking out.
"I'll miss you too you horrible sister!" He yelled back at me before I slammed the door shut and chuckled to myself.
"You ready to go?" My dad asked, taking my luggage.
"Yep!" I smiled and got onto our red Mazda 3 Hatchback. I loaded the luggage onto the back seat and buckled my seatbelt. "Let's go!"The drive to Greek Academy was an hour long. The drive was almost entirely countryside except for when we passed the major cities. But once we arrived, I gasped at the sight which was the Academy.
The castle designs looked modern yet medieval, being made entirely out of stone. The surrounding areas were hectares of land, there was a bush maze, a giant lake, fountains, gardens and much more. The outside of the castle was a sort of beige-grey stone, it seemed to be over ten stories tall and the top few stories looked to be dormitories.
The inside was surprisingly modern compared to the outside. The floor was made of a white marble which reflected like a mirror. The walls were a freshly painted coat of warm-white paint and the classrooms had modern hologram boards rather than the old interactive whiteboard.
