Because this boi deserves more love. - Basically this chapter is me ranting and spreading awareness about Monoma because he is a precious boi and doesn't deserve to get as much hate as he does. Because let's all admit it, Bakugo was way worse than Monoma, except because of recent development, he's less of an asshole.
Oh wait, did I forget to mention there's gonna be uncensored swearing! HAH!
By the way if this chapter just ends up being me fangirling over Monoma, oops but no regrets.
Lets begin.
Firstly can I point out: MONOMA MAY BE AN ASS BUT HE'S NOTHING COMPARED TO YOUNG BAKUGO. (I'm gonna say this now: I'm comparing Monoma to old Bakugo, new Bakugo is fucking amazing and precious and 10x better than old Bakugo so that wouldn't be fair)
NOW. YOU ALL LOVE BAKUGO SO SO MUCH RIGHT?! YOU TELL ME HE'S AN INNOCENT CINNAMON ROLL THAT NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED RIGHT?! WELL, LET'S SEE WHAT BAKUGO HAS DONE SO FAR, HM? 1. HE BEAT UP DEKU MULTIPLE TIMES AS CHILDREN 2. HE BULLIED DEKU 3. HE THREATENED DEKU IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, INCLUDING TEACHERS AND THE PUBLIC 4. HE THREATENED TO KILL DEKU WHEN BOTH OF THEM GOT INTO U.A 5. HE TOLD DEKU TO KILL HIMSELF 6. HE RUINED DEKU'S BELONGINGS 7. HE BULLIED NOT ONLY DEKU, BUT PEOPLE IN HIS CLASS AS WELL 8. HE DOESN'T EVEN TRY TO CALL PEOPLE BY WHAT THEIR NAMES ARE, BUT RATHER HIS OWN NICKNAME SUCH AS 'RACCOON EYES' FOR ASHIDO 9. DOESN'T EVEN HAVE RESPECT FOR HIS TEACHERS 10. IS A SELF ABSORBED BRAT
that last one is just my personal opinion but okay, isn't everything?
NOW.
Let's see what Monoma has done so far? Hm? 1. Said that fucking line in chapter 210 that everyone hates him for 2. Was kinda mean during the u.a tournament? 3. ... 'bullies' 1-a? And by bullying I mean grade school type bullying e.g "haha I'm better than u."
Yeah... I might have missed some but you get my point.
Thats basically my argument lol.
Now, onto some more opinionated stuff.
I feel like Monoma is just hurting more now.
That sounds crazy but hear me out.
So I was re-Reading the BnHA manga because there's still another week until chapter 212 comes out. And I saw something.
When I came upon the recent chapters I saw exactly what I was thinking.
Monoma seriously looked genuinely happy or not sad in the old chapters. In the new chapters he looks happy but he seems sort of... distraught?
