Oh my goodness
I have a Japanese Speaking test tomorrow
And I've memorised everything
EXCEPT THE PART THAT WILL GET ME ABOVE STANDARD
UGHGHGH
Not sure if other Aussie schools do this
But in my school we don't get grades
We get marked on what standard we are.
E.g If you're at the end of grade 7 you're expected to be 7.0
When you're halfway through year 8 you need to be 7.5
When you're at the end of grade 8 you're meant to be 8.0
And so on
So if I'm year 8 (I'm not year 8 just so you know I'm just using this as an example)
It's the end of the year so I'm expected to be at 8.0
If I get 7.5 I'm below standard AND I CANNOT GET BELOW STANDARD
If I get 8.0 I'm at standard
BUT BYTACH
I'M AIMING FOR 8.5 OR 9.0
HAH
Srsly though,
My Japanese is better than the seniors at my school
They can't even say good morning right
