Fun fact: every Monday in primary school we had an assembly where we had to sit outside for like 30 minutes, sometimes in 40° heat and sometimes in 5° cold, but we still did it anyway and we had to sing the Australian anthem every week XD And when you were prep they'd give you this piece of paper which had the entire Australian anthem on it so you could memorise it, and to make it interesting you could colour in the Aussie animals drawn on it and then it'd get laminated and you'd keep it in your tub XD

Wait, did anyone else have tubs in school? It was like this rectangular plastic box that you put to this frame and it'd become a drawer. Basically, you had your locker which looked like this:

And above it was a small space (unlike in the picture) where you kept your tub, your tub is where you kept all your belongings like your iPad, books, pencil case, etc

That's what the tub looked like but wider and less tall XD And then you'd customise a name plate and stick it on the front with blue tack. And then when it came to the end of the year, you had to clean your tubs out for the next students coming in and let me tell you, no one returned the blue tack to the teacher.  We all stole it and kept it as ours to play with XD

At the end of my primary school years my teachers made this skit about how their blue tack was going missing and they went on an adventure to buy some more. It was hilarious XD

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!
