Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter five~ despicable men

Lucy and jellal gathered the others and met at the cave entrance. They walked down the long dark entrance looking for Magma. She could be found in the same room they had left her, still in human form. She was dancing around the room humming a beautiful tune. "Magma!" Lucy called out, as she and the group approached. Magma turned to them with a smile, as she halted her dancing. "Yay, your back!" Magma giggled, running to Lucy and hugging her. Lucy hugged her back with a sigh, knowing the news she was about to give would break magmas heart.

"I have something to tell you." Lucy said sadly. "What's wrong?" Magma asked, her eyebrows drawing together in worry. "I heard a rumor in town, that there are people below the mountain." Lucy said. "Their taking the valuable stones at the bottom, which is causing the mountain to die." Lucy said sadly. "What? Are you sure?" Magma asked. "I only heard two rumors, the other was that it was you; and I don't believe that." Lucy said confidently. "The only way to know for sure is to find out." Natsu added, as everyone nodded in agreement.

Back at fairy tail.

Luna sat at the bar with silver sipping away at their milkshakes. Luna drank a vanilla milkshake while silver was drinking what he called a winter milkshake. It was a mixture of blueberry and cinnamon which Luna found disgusting. "When do you think mom and dad will be home?" Silver asked. "Well, they've only been gone for a day. I guess a couple more days, depending on what happens." Luna said shrugging. "I guess." Silver said with a sigh, continuing to drink his milkshake.

Back with Lucy.

Lucy squeezed Jellals hand for comfort as they led the way down into the mountains base. Magma had found an entrance into a place she had never ventured, afraid to damage the mountain. "What do you think we'll find down here?" Sylvia asked. "Probably some idiots." Gray answered with a shake of his head. Juvia giggled slightly at grays response. "Probably." She agreed.

Magma walked behind them sadly, she couldn't believe someone would take the precious jewels from this mountain. "Why would they want to kill the mountain like this?" She asked. "Because money makes people do stupid things." Jellal said knowingly. "I mean, what do they want to use them for?" Magma asked. "I'm not sure. I could probably guess if they were mages." Natsu said. "Wait, their not mages?" Lucy asked. "Oh, did I forget to mention that?" Natsu asked as Sylvia slapped herself in the forehead. "My bad." Natsu mumbled.

"You mean we're found to be fighting civilians?" Gray asked. "That means no magic." He said unhappily. "Not necessarily, they could have magic weapons." Lucy said. "Yes, many people in this town use magic weapons due to them being non mages." Magma informed them. "Wow, I couldn't imagine not having magic." Gray said. "We saw it on edolus." Lucy reminded. "Oh yeah." Gray said thoughtfully, his hand on his chin.

"Well, regardless if their mages or not we should still be careful. We don't want to hurt anyone we don't have to, right natsu?" Juvia asked, knowing natsu would be the only one to hurt anyone. "Why are y'all always assuming I'm going to hurt someone?" Natsu asked, his hands on his hips like a child. Everyone laughed at him, even Magma cracked a smile. As they continued down the dark tunnel they began to hear voices.

"Get those crates down to the boss ASAP." A booming voice commanded. Lucy squatted down beside the entrance they found, Jellal and the others following suit. "Wow, there's so many." Magma said, as they observed the twenty or so men before them. "Look at all those crates." Lucy said, pointing to the far corner. At least fifteen crates were full of blue and red gems. The mountain began to rumble and shake as the men hammered and chiseled away at the rock.

"Hahaha, look at that score right there!" Another mans voice rang out. "A couple more weeks and we'll have this place cleaned out." He chuckled. "Not if I can help it!" Magma whispered as she started to sneak into the entrance. "Wait!" Lucy said, grabbing her hand and pulling her back. "Remember, were not trying to hurt them." Lucy reminded, seeing the look in magmas eyes. Magma gave a quick nod as they began to sneak further into the room.

A loud crash could be heard just as they made it behind some crates. Lucy turned around to see natsu sprawled out on the floor, having knocked one of the crates over. "What was that?" The men questioned. "Damnit natsu!" Gray cursed, as he drug natsu behind the crates. "Thanks gray." Natsu whispered, rubbing his head. "Go check it out." One of the men commanded. "Fine." Another man said, as they heard footsteps. "Ah, a crate fell over." He said shrugging, putting the crate back in place.

"That was close." Sylvia whispered with a sigh. "To close." Juvia agreed. "Ok, natsu and Sylvia you guys take that side of the room." Lucy said, pointing to the far corner. "Juvia and gray you go that way." She said pointing to the other. "Jellal and I will walk right out to them." Lucy said with a smirk. "What about me?" Magma asked. Lucy smiled with a twinkle in her eye, clasping her hands together she looked quiet mad. The others raised their eyebrows in question, as they looked to one another. "You'll be my eyes in the sky's." Lucy giggled, pointing to the ceiling. "Ah." Magma said, smiling.

Lucy and jellal waited for the others to get into position, before stepping out into the open. "Well, well; well. What do we have here?" Jellal asked, his voice menacing. "Looks like a bunch of idiots if you ask me." Lucy said stepping out, placing her hand on her hip. "Who the hell are you?" A burly man asked. He was tall with broad shoulders, his hair was down to his shoulders. He seemed to be in his thirty's, as did many of the other men. "Your worst nightmare, if you don't answer my questions." Lucy said, cocking her head to the side.

The burly man raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "And you are?" He asked again, anger entering her tone. "We're the ones who want to know what your doing in our mountain?" Jellal asked, folding his arms. "We're the ones taking the precious gems from your mountain." He said sarcastically, a full smirk on his lips. "You know those are fake right?" Lucy asked, raising an eyebrow. "No, they're not." He said confidently. "We've already sold some." He said.

Lucy and jellal connected eyes, Lucy nodded; that being the signal. Natsu, Sylvia, gray and juvia jumped from their positions. "We have you surrounded, you and your people are under arrest." Lucy said. The men looked to one another, before bursting into laughter. "You think the six of you can win against the twenty five of us?" He asked confidently. "Probably, but just in case." Lucy said shrugging. The ground shook as magma landed, causing everyone to lose balance. "I brought along a friend." Lucy said with a giggle.

The men stared in awe at the sight before them, never had they seen a real dragon before. Magma opened her mouth releasing a horrendous roar; making the men shake in their boots. "A d-d-dragon!" They yelled, pointing at the giant rock dragon before them.
