Chapter seven~ destroy all guilds

"You open it!" Natsu yelled. "No, you open it!" Gray retaliated. The two stood before the huge red double doors fighting over who should open the door. "Oh move over!" Sylvia said exasperatedly, shoving past them to open the door. She pushed the door open, cursing when it squeaked. "They should oil that." Juvia said, nodding her head. Lucy shook her head and rolled her eyes as she marched through the double doors. They were in a long hallway with many doors on both sides. Another red double door could be seen down the hallway. "That must be their guildhall." Jellal said, pointing to the door.

"Be on your guard." Lucy warned, sneaking down the hall. They made it to the other doors without a hitch, surprisingly. "Ok, now what?" Gray asked, as natsu shrugged. "Move I'll do it." Lucy sighed, pushing the door with all her might. "It won't budge." She grunted. "Nah, your just weak luce." Natsu said laughing, barely ducking in time to avoid being whacked in the head. He began to push on the door, grunting as he did so. When the door didn't open he turned around and folded his arms on his chest. "Not happening." He said, shaking his head.

"Let's all try then." Juvia suggested. They lined up against the door pushing with everything they had, when suddenly the doors burst open; causing them to fall on the floor. "Ouch!" They all yelled, rubbing various body parts that currently hurt. "What the hell!" Natsu yelled, his fist raised to the ceiling. *clap* *clap* *clap*. *clap* *clap* *clap*. The group looked around curiously at the sound of hands clapping. Lucy looked around cautiously,before spotting someone at what looked like a throne across the room.

"So nice of you to join me today." A deep husky voice said. "Who's there?" Natsu demanded, jumping up into fighting stance; his head turning from side to side. Jellal shook his head, grabbing Natsus head and turning it to the throne; rolling his eyes. "Who are you?" Natsu demanded, pointing to the man. The man stood from his throne, sauntering to the group. He was tall with black hair just below his ears. His eyes had a glint of red to them as he stared them down, his chocolate skin seemed to shine in the dim light of the room. "Me?" He said, pointing his thumb to himself. "I'm who you've been looking for." He smirked, spreading out his arms.

"So, your Deus Demarko?" Lucy asked, stepping forward protectively of the others. His red eyes married in on Lucy menacingly. "Yes, who's asking?" He asked, his eyes racing over her body; leaving her feeling slightly violated. "Lucy heartfillia, mage of fairy tail!" Lucy exclaimed proudly, showing her pink guild mark on her hand. "Oh, so your not a myth then?" He said, more to himself. "Excuse me?" Lucy asked, her head tilting to the side in curiosity.

"Word has it, there's a mage in fairy tail. She is known as T'chort. The black one." He said, eyeing her up and down. "Halo, horns, wings and tail." He mumbled to himself, looking to each feature in turn. "You will do nicely by my side once I destroy all guilds." He said, as he began to laugh. His shoulders moved up and down, his head tilting back slightly. "Why would you do that? Why would you destroy all the guilds?" Gray demanded furiously.

"Once the guilds are destroyed my guild, deus phantom, shall rule over the world. Everyone will have to come to us for help." He laughed. "Are you stupid?" Natsu asked. "Nobody's going to come to an assassins guild for help." He said, smirking. "You're wrong!" Deus retaliated. "Once all guilds in the world are destroyed, Deus phantom shall step forth. We will accept anyone's work, no matter what it may be!" He declared. Lucy looked at him curiously.

"You are aware that most jobs are simple. Go here, get that, fight these people. It's all repetitive, constant, simple, and hard. You may come across things and people you've never seen or heard of before. And one day, you'll come across something or someone that you can't defeat; an opponent so strong you have no choice but to bow down." Lucy said, standing there with her shoulders squared.

Deus demarko looked at her, contemplating her words. "That can be worked out after the guilds are gone." He smirked. "For now, I'll just have to take you." He said, lunging into action. He jumped towards her, a sword appearing in his hand. He drew his hand back, swinging with all his might. His eyes widened in shock at the sight before him. Jellal stood protectively in front of Lucy with his arms crossed, gray held his arm without the sword, natsu stood holding the sword in his hands as they were lit on fire; melting the sword to nothing. Juvia and Sylvia stood on either side holding his legs.

"We won't let you touch her!" Jellal declared boldly, glaring at Deus. The others glared at Deus with hatred. "What do you want with her?" Natsu demanded. "For her to be my queen in the darkness." He said simply, before vanishing. "I will destroy you, and all other guilds. Lucy heartfillia, t'chort, you shall be mine." His voice rang out, as they turned in a circle looking for him. "Damnit!" Natsu yelled, as the lights blew out completely.

"Ahh!" Natsu screamed in the darkness, followed by Sylvia. "Juvia!" Gray screamed, as her cry rang loud. "Lucy!" Jellal shouted, as he was thrown against a wall. "You guys?!" Lucy yelled, turning in circles. She searched everywhere around her, as she backed against a pillar. "Show yourself coward!" She screamed, her voice cracking slightly with fear. "Boo!" Deus said, appearing before her. "Ahhhhh!!!" She screamed, before he knocked her unconscious.

Jellal awoke with a headache, rubbing his head before remembering what happened. "Lucy!" He yelled, as he jumped up to search for her. "Natsu! Gray! Sylvia! Juvia!" He exclaimed when seeing everyone. He helped them all to rise as they began their search for Lucy.
