Lucy was super excited, she and jellal were going to dinner tonight. Luna would be spending the night at gray and juvias house, she had been spending much time there since silver saved her a month ago. Lucy and jellal have been very busy with missions, working hard to keep the three fed. It was quiet early so Lucy decided to spend the day shopping. She tightened her ponytail, grabbing her keys from the counter; she locked the door behind her. She headed down the road to the busy streets of the market district.

Lucy hummed lightly as she walked down the street, enjoying the chatting family's and friends around her. She spotted her favorite grocery shop, making her way through the people around her. The bell at the top of the door twinkled as she opened it, the shop owner giving her a smile as she walked in. "Ah, mrs. Fernandez. How wonderful to see you again." He said, bowing his head. "You in for the usual items today?" He asked, handing her a basket. "Yes sir, and anything else wonderful I might find." She said with a giggle.

She walked around the shop grabbing a variety of fruits and vegetables, along with some eggs and fish. She spotted a beautiful cake with pink frosting that she had to get for Luna. She grabbed some milk and break along the way to the counter, setting her basket on top for the owner. He quickly bagged her product, giving her the change with a smile. She waved as she walked out of the shop, heading back to the house. She and jellal decided to have a dinner date at the park, overlooking the lake. She was to prepare the food, while he prepared the decorations.

With jellal.

Jellal rushed frantically to the guild, searching for someone with blue hair; and possibly reading glasses on. He burst through the guild doors, causing Mira to start; holding her hand to her heart. "Goodness, jellal!" Mira said. "Quick Mira, were is Levy?" Jellal asked, grabbing Mira by the shoulders. "She's over there." Mira said, pointing to a table in the corner. Levy sat reading a book with gajeel and panther lily beside her. "Thank you!" He said quickly. "Sorry got startling you!" He added, as he weaved his way though the guild to levy.

"Levy!" Jellal said, slamming his hands into the table causing the three to jump. "I need your help." He said. "Please!" He begged. "Sure, what's up?" Levy asked, her magic reading glasses sliding down her nose. "Ok, Lucy and I are having a dinner picnic by the lake at the pond." Jellal said, taking a breath to continue. "You need my help decorating, right?" Levy said, holding her hand up to stop him from continuing. "Yes please." He said, bowing his head. "Of course I'll help." Levy said, hearts in her eyes. She loved decorating.

"Excellent!" Jellal said happily, as he and levy stood to leave. "Umm, excuse me?" Gajeel said in his deep voice. "Well, come on then." Levy said, waving her hand as she continued towards the doors. Gajeel and panther lily joined Jellal and levy as they headed towards the shopping district. "So, what did you have in mind?" Levy asked, trying to figure out what would be best. Jellal explained his idea to her, her smile growing wider and wider. "That's so romantic!" She gushed, her hands clasped in front of her.

Jellal flushed pink slightly, gajeel rolling his eyes beside him. "What's so romantic about food in front of a lake?" Levys cheeks puffed out in anger, placing her hands on her hips as she glared at gajeel. "Maybe you should try it sometime and find out." She said heatedly, as she turned on her heels. "What was that about?" Gajeel asked. "No idea." Panther lily said with a shrug. Jellal whispered something into gajeels ear, gajeels cheeks flushing redder as he continued. "Oh, I see what you mean." Gajeel said thoughtfully. "I might try that." He said with a grin.

Jellal shook his head slightly as he followed levy down the street. "Let's go to this shop." Levy said, pointing to a little shop down the way. It had a variety of vases and flowers, along with table cloths and other things. "Okay." Jellal said, following her into the store. A bell went off as they entered, alerting the elderly woman at the desk. "Well hello there, how may I help you?" She asked kindly, a smile on her face. Levy walked to the counter talking animatedly to the woman as Jellal walked around looking at items.

A vase caught his attention, it was blue like his hair with golden swirls in an elegant design. "I would love to have a vase here for flowers." Lucy's voice said in Jellals mind. He remembered her being slightly sad, saying the counter by the door looked barren. The only thing ever on that counter was Lucy's celestial keys and her whip. Jellal smiled to himself as he thought of how happy she would be. He gently pulled the vase from the shelf, tucking it carefully under his arm as he continued to look around.

Levy was still talking animatedly to the elderly woman, who was now walking around the shop grabbing items. Jellal walked towards the counter, stopping when he spotted the flowers along the wall. He spotted a beautiful violet tulip along with red spider Lillie's and some blue hydrangea flowers. A smile formed on Jellals lips as he looked at them, picking a few to put into the vase. When he was finished, Levy was walking to the counter with her arms loaded with different colored items.

"You get everything?" Jellal asked with a smirk. "Haha, I should just buy the whole store." Levy joked. "But, I think I have everything I'll need." She said, paying the woman before her. They gathered their bags and headed out of the door, just in time to run into gajeel and panther lily. "Oh, good. Carry these." Levy said, handing them both bags. "Why do I have to help?" Gajeel mumbled angrily. Levy turned and glared at him, causing him to shudder in fear. "Never mind." He said with a grunt, as he followed them to the park.
