Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter six~ deus demarko

Lucy and jellal stood there menacingly, staring the twenty-five men before them down. Natsu and Sylvia stood to their left while gray and juvia stood to their right. Magma stood behind them in dragon form, smoke emanating from her mouth. "A d-d-dragon!" The men said, cowering before her giant form. Magma spread her wings wide, giving another ferocious roar. "Who do you work for?" Lucy asked, stepping forwards. The men stood there dumbfounded, shaking in their boots; unable to move.

Lucy sighed as she stepped in front of the burly man, snapping her fingers. "I said, who do you work for?" Lucy asked again, more menacing this time. "We can't tell you that." The man said, fear in his eyes. "He will kill us if we tell you." He said, shaking even more; but not from the fear of magma. Lucy looked around to see all of the men shaking their heads and looking to the ground, as though if they looked at her he would kill them. "I promise he'll never find out you told me." Lucy said with a small smile. The burly man continued to shake his head no, causing Lucy to sigh once more. "Fine, have it your way." Lucy said, her hands in the air as she backed away. "Beat it out of them." She commanded.

"Alright, I'm fired up now." Natsu said, stepping forward; gray and jellal at his side. Juvia and Sylvia came to Lucy and magmas side to be out of the way. "Shouldn't we help?" Sylvia asked worriedly. "No, they will be fine." Juvia said, hearts in her eyes as gray removed his shirt. The boys jumped in to action, their fists flying in every direction. Twenty minutes later they stood there panting slightly, all the men on the ground. Lucy walked to the burly man and rolled him over with her foot. "So, do you want to tell me now?" Lucy asked sweetly.

"His name is....deus demarko." He panted, coughing at the end. "Thank you." Lucy said, leading the others back to magmas cavern. "Well, now we have to figure out who and we're this deus demarko is." Lucy said thoughtfully. "We could always ask around town again." Sylvia said. "Juvia agrees with that, maybe the townspeople can help." Juvia chimed in. "The townspeople will not be able to help with this one." Magma said. "Why not?" Gray asked.

"Deus demarko is a known criminal around here, he's a mage who runs an assassins guild." Magma said with disgust. Natsu became infuriated, he couldn't understand how someone could call themselves a guild when they killed others. "But, what does he want with the gems from this mountain?" Jellal questioned curiously. "He's probably got some big scheme planned that causes for a load of money." Lucy said shrugging. "Who knows." She added with a sigh.

"Regardless, we need to find out more information; like we're his hideout is." Gray said, picking his shirt from the ground and putting it back on. "Let's see what we can find out in town. Natsu, Sylvia, juvia and gray can stay here with Magma. Jellal and I will talk to the townsfolk." Lucy said. "Um, Luce?" Natsu said sheepishly. "Yeah natsu?" Lucy asked. "Well, some of the townspeople were commenting on a girl with a halo, horns, wings and tail; and the comments weren't exactly nice." Natsu said, rubbing his neck.

"Oh, don't worry about that." Lucy said with a smile. "Fearumvelious!" Lucy chanted, her body beginning to glow white. Her halo remained but her horns, wings and tail disappeared. She smiled at the shocked looks on everyone's faces; everyone but Jellals that is. "I've been training" she giggled, holding her hand in a fist before her. "Wow, that's amazing Lucy!" Sylvia and juvia gushed, while gray and natsu nodded in approval.

Lucy and jellal set out once more to talk to the townspeople, and just like Magma said; the people ran in fear at the name. "Well, this was pointless." Lucy huffed, sitting at a bench. The sun had begun to set before they realized it. The wind became chillier around them, followed by a menacing aura in the air. "What is that?" Lucy wondered. "I don't know, but I don't like it. Let's go find the others." Jellal said, taking her hand in his. They began to walk back to the others hand in hand. When they returned the others asked how it went, they simply shook their heads. "No luck." Jellal said.

"We did feel a menacing aura out there though." Lucy said. "I have been smelling something weird." Natsu commented, sniffing the air. "Maybe we should check it out?" Magma asked. "Yes." Lucy said, as she led the way back outside. Natsu began to sniff the air to get the smell again, then started leading them to the other side of town. The trees were tall and went on for as far as the eye could see.

They continued further and further into the deep dark forest. Lucy shivered as the darkness closed on around them. "Oh, wait!" Lucy said, snapping her fingers. Her halo began to shine brighter as her horns tail and wings appeared. "Much better." She sighed. "It hurts a little when I hide them." Lucy said, answering Sylvia's questioning look. "Oh, I got you. Your halo puts off a nice light too." Sylvia commented. Thanks to the light of Lucy's halo they could now see further in front of them.

Lucy, Sylvia and juvia began to chat amongst themselves while the boys led the way. "Ouch." Lucy said, bumping into Jellals not moving form. "What is it?" She asked, rubbing her nose as she peaked over Jellals shoulder. A guild stood before them, as y'all as the trees. It had a huge dark red double door at its entrance with skulls lining the edges. "Well, this place is creepy." Juvia said shaking. "Yup, this place definitely gives off the assassin vibe." Gray agreed, nodding his head.

"Let's check it out!" Natsu said with excitement, turning to the others with a giant grin on his face. "You just want to destroy something, huh?" Sylvia said with a smirk. "No! Maybe? Yea!" Natsu said, all fired up. "Welp, let's go check it out." Lucy said, scrunching her nose at the distasteful building before her.
