Chapter fourty five~luna and silvers date out

Luna woke up from a nightmare, sweat dripping down her body. She was panting heavily as her hand went to her heart. "Just a dream." She said with a sigh, her gaze turning to the window beside her. She could tell it was after midnight, the stars shown brightly in the sky. She shivered as she stepped from the bed, heading for the bathroom; her nightmare still haunting her thoughts.

Luna stood in a vast open space, many planets surrounding her. She could hear Lucy's voice in the distance, followed by Jellals. "Luna!" They yelled. "Mommy! Daddy!" Luna cried out, her hands cupping her mouth. She began to run towards their voices, as they became harder and harder to hear. She stopped, turning in circles, tears beginning to fall from her eyes. Suddenly, a giant figure appeared, its body made from galaxies. It turned to Luna, releasing a monstrous roar, before she bolted awake.

Luna shivered again, as she stepped in front of the mirror. Her eyes had dark circles from lack of sleep, her hair was a rats nest, and her skin was white as paper. It had been three months since Lucy and the rest left for the spirit world, meaning for Lucy it had only been a day. Luna sighed as she turned the shower on with straight hot water. She stripped her clothes and stepped into the streaming water. Once she was finished with her shower, she dressed in different pajamas and went back to her bed.

Luna climbed under her purple comforter, her gaze turning once more to the window. She sighed as she rested against the pillow, in for a long couple of hours of tossing and turning. She awoke again around seven in the morning, the sun slightly shining through the blinds. She rose once more from her bed, getting dressed in a black top with white skirt and black knee high boots. Her long blonde hair fell to her waist, swaying slightly as she walked to the guild. She pushed open the guild doors, missing how she didn't have to dodge anything as gray and natsu fought.

She waved and said hello to people as she passed, giving Wendy a wink as she saw her sitting with Romeo. Wendy blushed scarlett, Luna giggled as she continued. "Hey Mira." Luna said, as she sat down at the bar. "Hi Luna, the usual?" Mira chirped. "Yes please." Luna replied, resting her head on her arms. "You have another nightmare?" Mira asked, as she made Luna a strawberry and blueberry milkshake. "Yeah, the same one." Luna sighed, as she took the milkshake from Mira. "Thanks, Mira." Luna said, as she headed for a table at the far corner of the guild.

Silver walked into the guild, his back slouched, hands in his pockets. He instantly spotted Luna in the corner by herself, she looked sad again, her usual look these past three months. Silver sighed as he walked to the bar, greeting Mira with a smile. "Hey mira, double ice cream please." He said. "Coming right up." Mira said happily. "She's still worried." Mira said. Her back was turned, her head tilted towards Luna. "Maybe you should ask her to do something!" Mira said, handing silver his ice cream. "How do you mean?" Silver asked, a faint blush on his neck.

"You should ask her on a date." Mira said, hearts in her eyes. "A d..date?" Silver asked, his mouth hanging open slightly. Mira giggled at his reaction. "I see the way you look at her." Mira said, leaning against the counter. Silver began to blush even more, he wondered what other people saw when he looked at Luna. "What if she says no?" He said, a hint of sadness. "She won't!" Mira said, a knowing smile on her lips. "Well, Alright then." He said, as he stood. He walked over to her table, sitting down opposite her. She glanced up at him before placing her head back on her arms, a small smile tugging her lips.

"Hey lu." He said, poking her arm playfully. "Hey Silver." Luna said in a monotone. Silver took a deep breath, his nerves kicking in. "Would you like to.." Silver started, before he was interrupted by a chair hitting his head. "Ouch!" He said, as he rubbed the back of his head. "Okay, who threw that?" Silver asked as he turned around. "Sorry Silver." Rebecca said, quickly rushing to him and grabbing the chair. Rebecca had five other chairs already in her arms. "What are you doing?" Luna asked her. "Cleaning." Rebecca said with a shrug. Silver helped Rebecca take the chairs to the back before rejoining Luna at her table. He sat down with a sigh, still rubbing his head.

"What was you saying?" Luna asked him. "Oh, right." Silver said nervously, looking over to mira who gave him a nod of encouragement. "Would you like to...go on a date with me?" He asked, a small blush creeping up his cheeks. Luna thought about it for a moment. It had been three months since their parents had left, both she and silver had been working hard to pay for their houses. The guild had offered to help of course, but they refused. She had been sad ever since her parents left, maybe this would cheer her up. She smiled as she looked to silver to answer him. "I would love to, meet me at my place tonight at 7." Luna said, as she pushed her chair back and stood up.

Luna rushed home with a smile on her face, closing the front door behind her as she headed into the kitchen. She opened the door to the refrigerator and looked inside, a frown forming as she saw how empty it was. She closed the door and went to the cabinet, grabbing her jar of money. She counted out her money, grabbed a jacket from the rack and locked the door behind her. She walked down the busy streets looking for the grocery store. She finally found it and walked inside grabbing a variety of items. She paid for her product and skipped home with a smile, getting ready to prepare dinner.

She had decided to make curry rice, and set out to prepare the meal. When she looked at the clock it was already six, just enough time for a quick shower. After she finished with her shower, she quickly changed into a light blue top with a black skirt and knee high black boots. She just finished tying her hair back with a black bow when there was a knock at the door. She smiled knowing it was silver, as she headed to the door. "Hey, come in." She said with a smile, stepping back for him to enter. "It smells really good in here. Is that curry rice?" He asked, sniffing the air. "Indeed it is." Luna said proudly.

"That's my favorite!" Silver said excitedly, heading into the kitchen. Luna had already prepared their plates, you could still see the steam. "This looks great!" Silver said, as they sat down and began to eat. They chatted lightly about the guild and various jobs they had been on. "You wanna watch a movie?" Luna asked, as she grabbed the plates and put them in the sink. "Sure, what do you wanna watch?" He asked, his head tilted slightly. "How about a horror." She said. "Okay." He said, as he began to rummage through the movies. He found the scariest looking one he could and placed it inside the lacryma player. They both sat down on the couch, after Luna made it back with a bag of popcorn.

Ten minutes into the movie, Luna was already hiding her face in his shoulder. He had his arm wrapped around her, his thumb making light circles on her shoulder. Luna screamed in fear as a mans head was cut clean off, causing silver to chuckle at her. When the movie was over, silver placed the lacryma back into the box. Luna looked to the clock, it was already 9:30pm. "Well, I guess I better go." Silver said, noticing her looking at the clock. Luna was going to offer that he spent the night until she remembered he had a job the next day. "Are you going on that job by yourself tomorrow?" Luna asked, as she began to walk him to the door.

"Yeah." He replied, as he stood awkwardly in the doorway. "Would you like me to come?" Luna asked, hoping he said yes. "It's going to be dangerous, but I'm fine with you coming." He said, his heart beginning to beat faster. Luna smiled in happiness, looking forward to not being home all day. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." Luna said, giving him a hug. As they pulled apart, silver bent down and gently placed his lips upon hers. She was shocked at first but quickly melted into his warm embrace. "See you tomorrow." He said with a smirk, placing a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.
