Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter eleven~rebecca

It took two days on the train to reach raven hollow. During that time Luna and silver had a blast with one another. Natsu however, he was motion sick the whole way so poor Sylvia had to deal with him. Lucy and jellal chatted with Donald about his business deal. "So you see, in this deal alone selling this railroad will make me at least 20,000 jewel." Donald concluded his explanation. "Wow that's good money. My father used to own many railroads." Lucy said, remembering her life in the mansion with her father. It wasn't a very pleasant time after her mother passing.

"Ah, I thought you might be the daughter of Jude heartfillia." Donald Said, rubbing his chin. "You look just like your mother, Layla." He complimented. "Thank you sir." Lucy said with a smile. The train began to come to its final stop, raven hollow. At first glance it seemed to be a desolate place. It was a small village of about 20 houses, four shops lined the main road. There was hardly anyone walking about, which Lucy found disturbing.

"We're is everyone?" Lucy asked. "Oh, raven hollow is a horrible town. Not many choose to live here if they can avoid it. This is simply the halfway point we decided to meet at. The town is kind of ruff, that's why I wanted protection." He said, shivering slightly. "Why would you agree to meet in a town you think is horrible?" Natsu asked, looking around. "Like He said, it's halfway between both towns." Sylvia said, as natsu nodded in understanding.

"Here we are." He said, standing in front of the local grocery store. "And there He is." He said, looking to a man in a top hat sitting at a bench. Donald headed to the bench while the others observed from a distance, close enough to spring into action if needed. "It doesn't seem to be going well." Lucy notes, watching the other man wave his arms as he spoke. She could tell by the expression on his face he was furious. Donald began to walk back to the group with his head hanging, a sad expression.

"Everything okay?" Lucy asked gently. "No, but I'll be fine." He said, a wave of his hand. "Let's head back to magnolia." He said dejectedly. The group began their walk back to the train station. "Mommy, I'm sleepy." Luna said, barely able to keep her eyes open. Lucy picked Luna into her arms, cuddling her close. Luna placed her head on Lucy's shoulder, quickly drifting off. "Would you like me to carry you?" Jellal asked silver, noticing he too was tired. "Please?" Silver asked politely. Jellal picked silver up just as Lucy, and just as quick Silver was asleep.

Once on the train Lucy and jellal placed Luna and silver in their own seats. Natsu just laid on the floor between them, moaning slightly. Lucy Jellal and Sylvia chatted with Donald, trying to cheer him up. Suddenly, the cargo door opened; revealing a man dragging a girl around twelve by the arm. "Excuse us." He said in a husky voice, as he continued to drag her down the train cart. The girl looked to Lucy with eyes full of pleading.

"Excuse me, are you her father?" Lucy asked the man. "No." He said simply, not explaining himself. "Sweetie, do you know this man?" Lucy asked the child. The girl looked to the man with terrified eyes before shaking her head no. "Who are you and what do you want with her?" Lucy asked, placing a hand on her hip. "None of your business." He said, as he began to drag the girl by the arm again. "Ouch!" The girl cried out in pain, her eyes beginning to water.

Lucy became infuriated, her body turning red from rage. "Who the hell do you think you are?" Lucy demanded, stepping towards the man. "This doesn't concern you ma'am." He said. "The hell it doesn't." Sylvia demanded, before stepping towards the man. Sylvia balled her hand into a fist, setting it on fire she punched the man; sending him flying into the next cart. Lucy grabbed the girls hand and quickly woke Silver and Luna up. "Luna honey, take this girls hand and go with daddy." Lucy said to Luna.

"Mommy, what's going on?" Luna asked, her bottom lip quivering. "Nothing honey, mommy has to handle some business." Lucy said, before kissing her forehead. "Take care of the kids." She said to Jellal, giving him a quick kiss. "Of course dear." He said, before taking Luna and silvers hand and dragging them out of the cart; Donald hot on his heals. "Time to go to work Natsu." Lucy said, kicking his foot. "In fired up now!" He exclaimed, before quickly throwing up. "Stupid train." He said, wiping his mouth.

Lucy, natsu and Sylvia rushed into the other cart, to find the man gone. A hole could be seen in the side of the train cart. "Damn!" Lucy cursed. "He got away." "I'm sure we'll see him again." Sylvia said with disgust. They headed back the way they came, looking for Jellal and the kids. Jellal, Luna and silver were talking to the little girl they saved. "So, what's your name?" Luna asked kindly, still holding the girls hand as tears poured down her cheeks. "R..Rebecca." She said with a sniffle. "That's a lovely name." Jellal said with a smile.

"Sweetie, can you tell me what happened?" Sylvia asked Rebecca. "He...kidnapped me. He took my from my family...and.....he killed them." She said, the tears continuing to pour. "Oh my." Sylvia said, placing her hand to her heart. She hugged Rebecca close, as though if she let go she would disappear. "I'll look after you from now on." Sylvia said, glancing at natsu. "Fine with me." Natsu said, his signature grin on his face. "Welcome to the family kid!" He said happily, placing his hand atop her head.

They rode the train back to magnolia, walking Donald back to his home. They headed back to fairy tail, different emotions running through them. Who was that man, and what did he want?
