Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter twenty nine~lunas rescue

Silver awoke in the park, the sun barely rising in the sky. His hand went to the back of his head, were he could feel a knot forming. He jumped up quickly, rushing for the guild. When he made it there he burst through the doors breathlessly. "Lucy! Jellal!" He cried out, as he looked around. "Silver?" Lucy said, rushing to him. "What's wrong? Were's luna?" She asked. "Some guys took her, they knocked me out." He said, ashamed of himself.

"It's not your fault silver, you did your best I'm sure." Gray said, ruffling silvers hair. "We're proud of you for protecting her." Juvia said with a smile. "But, I didn't." Silver said, anger seeping into his tone. "I couldn't protect her, that's why they took her; I'm not strong enough." He said angrily. "Listen to me, silver." Lucy said, kneeling down to be at eye level with him. "It's not your fault, you tried your best. Don't worry, we'll find her; together." Lucy said, giving him a reassuring smile. "Natsu!" Lucy said, looking for the pink haired dragon slayer.

"What!?" He yelled, currently in a brawl with Elfman. "I need your nose, Luna's been taken." Lucy said. "Sorry Elfman, gotta go." Natsu said, as he sent Elfman flying into the opposite wall. "Well, let's go." Natsu said, heading for the door. Lucy shook her head as she, jellal, Silver, Gray and juvia followed behind Natsu. "Wait for me!" A voice said behind them. They turned to see happy flying towards them, landing on Lucy's head. "You coming with us little buddy?" Natsu asked. "Of course!" Happy said with a smile.

"This brings back memories." Lucy said with nostalgia. "Yeah, the old gang back together." Natsu said with a laugh. "Good times, good times." Happy said, looking to the sky. "So, were going to the park first?" Jellal asked, joining the conversation. "Yeah, that's  were they took her. Maybe their scent will still be there for uncle Natsu to track them." Silver said hopefully. "I have to find her." He said with determination. "You will, and when you do she'll be very happy to see you." Gray said with a smirk. "She might even give you a kiss." Juvia said with a giggle.

Lucy laughed as she saw the look on Jellals face. "What? You don't like the idea of Luna kissing silver?" She asked, still laughing. "My daughter shouldn't be kissing boys." Jellal said. "Well, she shouldn't be kissing girls either." Natsu said with a laugh. "She shouldn't be kissing anyone!" Jellal snapped. "She's my baby girl, she's to young." Jellal said, folding his arms over his chest. "Pulease, we did way more at her age." Lucy said, blushing slightly when the others turned to her. "Hey, you two did just as much." She said accusingly to Gray and juvia.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Gray said, shrugging his shoulders. Juvia and Lucy laughed lightly as the group made it to the park. "Well, I can smell Luna still." Natsu said. "So, that means the guys scent should still be here too right?" Silver asked with excitement. Natsus face scrunched up in concentration, turning into disbelief. "I can only smell Luna, like these guys don't have a scent." Natsu said, an eyebrow raised. "That's odd, doesn't everyone have a scent?" Jellal asked, unconsciously sniffing himself. "Well yeah, unless your dead or something." Natsu said with a shrug. "But, you can follow Luna's scent right?" Silver asked.

"Of course, this way." Natsu said, as he began to lead them out of town. They made it to the edge of town, stopping at the entrance to the woods surrounding magnolia. "We're going in there?" Juvia asked with a shiver. "Are you scared?" Natsu asked. "No.." Juvia said, unconvincingly. "I'm right beside you." Gray said, taking her hand for comfort. "Thank you, darling." Juvia said with hearts in her eyes. Silver rolled his eyes at his parents, as he followed along behind them. He was still beating himself up about not being able to save Luna, he was afraid she wouldn't forgive him.

With Luna.

Luna awoke tied to a tree in the woods, her back already beginning to hurt from the rough wood. She cautiously glanced around trying to get her bearings, she noticed two men beside a campfire. They were talking quietly amongst themselves, unaware that Luna was awake. "I wish this job would just be over already so we can get paid." The crackly voiced man said. "Ah shut up, Jacob. I'm tired of hearing you complain." The husky voiced man said. "No need to be so rude, frank." Jacob said with a cackle.

"In the morning well give the girl to the boss, we get paid and buy ourselves a boat." Frank said, nodding his head. "Agreed." Jacob said, laying down with his back to Luna. "Guess I'm taking first watch." Frank said, turning to look at Luna. Luna quickly closed her eyes as she saw his head begin to turn, listening to the crunching of the leaves beneath his feet. "I know your awake, girl." Frank said, in his husky voice. Luna raised her head glaring in Franks face. "Yeah, so what?" She said, sounding more confident than she was.

Frank chuckled to himself as he looked at her, shaking his head slightly as he bent down to check the rope. "You know, you got guts kid. I like that." He said, as he began to walk back to the fire. "What do you want with me?" Luna asked, trying to keep the fear from her voice. Frank stopped, his burley body turning towards Luna. "Trust me girl, you don't want to know." He said, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Who do you work for?" Luna continued, pressing for information. Frank smirked slightly as he looked at her, admiration in his eyes. "I work for someone named Lucy." He said.
