Chapter fourty seven~ return home

Luna and silver stood atop mount hakabe, the snow swirling around them. Luna was shivering as she wore a tank top and skirt. Silver stood with his shirt off, the cold having no effect on him. "S.so c.c.cold." Luna shivered, grabbing a blanket from her bag and wrapping it around her. "Ahh." She sighed, as the warmth took over. Silver shook his head at her, not understanding why she was making such a fuss. This was perfect weather to him, being an ice mage. "What was the job again?" Luna asked. "They want us to defeat a volcan clan hiding in the mountains." Silver said, his hand to his forehead trying to see better. "What about that cave?" Luna asked, pointing to the entrance of a cave on her right.

Silver looked at the cave, his hand on his chin thinking. "Well, we should stop there regardless. That way you can warm up." He said, leading the way to the cave. "It's so dark in here." Luna said. "Oh!" Luna gasped, as an idea came to her. She held her hand before her, gathering her magic power. A purple flame began to appear in her hand, lighting their way and giving some warmth. Silver looked impressed, Luna could see it in his eyes. "When did you learn that?" He asked. "Romeo taught me." Luna said proudly. "Well, that will come in handy." He said, as he continued to lead the way through the cave.

They continued to follow the cave deeper and deeper, surprised they hadn't come across anything. "Let's rest here a bit." Luna said, her voice laced with exhaustion. "Okay." Silver said with a smile, helping her sit down.

Back at fairy tail.

The guild was as rambunctious as always, laughing and singing, yelling and brawling. Wendy and Romeo sat at a table in the corner, laughing at the others. Mira stood behind the bar, wiping down glasses. Lizanna walked around the guild, serving food and drink to the customers and guild members. Levy, gajeel and pantherlily sat at a table together, Levy reading her book while gajeel napped. Suddenly, the atmosphere in the guild changed. A bright white light appeared in the center of the guild.

Everyone stopped, their mouths hanging open and eyes gazing towards the light. "What is this?" Erza questioned, preparing for battle. After the light disappeared, Lucy and the rest could be seen with smiles on their faces. "We're back everybody!" Lucy laughed cheerily, waving a hand to everyone. Mira placed her hand to her mouth in shock, tears forming in her eyes. Everyone began to cheer, Erza had a smile as she approached her friends, embracing Lucy in a hug. "I'm glad your back." Erza said, nodding to the others. "We are too." Lucy whispered.

Lucy looked around the guild, her face falling slightly when she didn't see Luna. "Were is Silver?" Juvia asked Mira. "Oh, he took Luna on a job." Mira said, hearts in her eyes. "They also went on a date yesterday." Mira said with a smile. Lucy and juvia looked at one another with slight smiles, happy their kids got along. "Well, he better take care of her." Gray said in a serious tone. "Oh please." Natsu said, everyone turning to him. "We all know she's taking care of him." He said with a chuckle. Everyone else joined in his laughter, even gray. "You know, they should have been back by now." Mira said, looking to the clock. They had been gone five hours already.

"What job did they take?" Jellal asked. Mira pulled her copy of the job out and examined it. "Oh dear." She said, her hand to her mouth. "What?!" Lucy and juvia asked. "They took the job dealing with the volcans." Mira said, a frown on her lips. Gray, natsu, juvia and jellal all looked to one another. "What do you say lu, up for a job?" Natsu asked, cracking his knuckles. "Let's do it!" Lucy said happily. They left the guild heading for mount hakabe.

With Luna and silver.

Luna and silver rested up in the cave, getting warm from the fire Luna produced. "Okay, I think I'm okay now." Luna said with a smile. They headed further into the cave, coming to a fork in the cave. "Left or right?" Silver asked. "Hmm." Luna said, her hand to her chin in thought. "Left?" She said, shrugging her shoulders. "Alright, left it is." Silver said, leading the way. They took the left entrance, the air becoming thick, the darkness closing in. Luna lit her hand up once more for light.

They could see a light ahead, as they walked through another entrance into a circular room of ice. Luna gasped as she spotted 20 volcan, all of them really huge. Volcan are giant gorillas that steel your body for their own, also known as take-over magic. "There's a lot of them." She said, her lip beginning to quiver. Silver stood in front of her, punching his fist. "I can handle this." He said confidently, stepping forward. He jumped into action, freezing the closest one, punching the next one, and using his ice hammer on the next. Luna watched in awe as he began to fight, her pinks turning a slight pink.

Luna gasped as she heard a thud behind her, cautiously turning around to come face to face with a volcan. "Eep!" She yelled, as she dodged the monkeys blow. "Crap." She whispered, standing up to get ready. "Transform!" She said. "Beast arm!" She continued. Her arm began to glow, changing into a giant metal arm. She punched just in time to stop the Vulcans fist, smirking when he looked surprised. "Luna!" Silver yelled, checking she was okay. "I'm fine." She assured, pushing the volcan back. They continued to fight, panting heavily as they knocked the last opponent down. They turned to one another and smiled, before high fiving.

"Looks like you didn't need our help after all." Lucy said, as she and the others appeared behind Luna and silver. "Mommy?! Daddy?!" Luna exclaimed, running to them and hugging them. "We missed you." Lucy and jellal said together, hugging Luna tight. "Your back!" Silver said, hugging his mom and dad and giving juvia a kiss on the cheek. "I'm so glad to see you!" Juvia exclaimed, beginning to cry. "I missed you too mom." Silver said, hugging her again. "Let's go back." Lucy said, taking Luna's hand. They walked back to fairy tail with smiles on their faces.

They pushed the doors open as they reached the guild. "We're back everybody!" Natsu said, as he grinned and waved. "Natsu?" A voice said. Natsu turned to see Sylvia and Rebecca, shock on their faces. "Sylvia, Rebecca!" Natsu exclaimed, running to them and embracing them in a hug. The girls began to cry as they clung to Natsu, as if they were to let go he would disappear. Lucy whipped a tear from her eye, a smile on her lips as Levy tackled her to the ground in a hug. "Lu-chan!" She exclaimed, happy tears streaming down her face. Everyone began to laugh, some whipping tears of their own. "Let's party!" Master Makorov yelled from the top floor, as the guild began to cheer and drink and dance.
