Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter two~ group mission.

Lucy, jellal, Gray, juvia, natsu and Sylvia all sat in Erzas office; that was previously Makorovs. He was currently living with porlyusica in her hut in the woods, living peacefully. Erza had taken over as the master due to laxus leaving on a 100 year quest. "Ok, this is your mission." Erza said with seriousness, looking at them all in turn. "We have been contacted by a few towns over, requesting our aid in dealing with a dragon." Erza said reading, from the request form. Natsu couldn't help but be excited, He is a dragon slayer after all.

"Wait, like a real dragon?" Gray asked, remembering acnologia on tenrou island. "This one is supposed to be a small fry dragon." Erza assured. "Even if it's small it'll still be hard to beat." Lucy said thoughtfully, her hand on her chin. Jellal slid his arm over her shoulders. "I'll be there with you every step of the way." He said, promise in his voice. Lucy nodded with confidence, knowing she could accomplish anything with him by her side.

"Shouldn't gajeel and Wendy be joining this mission?" Juvia asked. "I have them on another assignment at the moment." Erza said, a gleam in her eye. "Really? You sent them for strawberry's didn't you?" Lucy said, a hint of humor in her voice. "Yes I did." Erza said with a serious face, daring anyone to oppose her. They simply shook their heads at her seriousness for strawberry's. "When do we leave?" Jellal asked. "The next train leaves in two hours, should be enough time for you to get ready and drop your kids off." Erza said, shuffling through some papers on her desk with a sigh.

Lucy was sad as she walked down the stairs to the main room of the guild. She didn't want to leave Luna behind, there was no telling how long they would be gone; or if they would even make it back. She smiled when she saw Luna and silver playing with Romeo, he was showing them his new fire techniques. "Luna, honey?" Lucy said as they approached. Luna came running into Lucy's arms with laughter. "Mommy!" She cried with joy, as she squeezed her tighter. Lucy held on to Luna as long as possible, until she felt a hand on her shoulder; looking up she saw Jellal. He had a knowing look in his eyes, a small smile on his lips as he nodded.

"Luna honey, mommy and daddy have to go away for a few days." Lucy said, almost crying when Luna began to pout. "But, were will I stay?" Luna asked. "She can stay with me, if that's okay." Mira said from the bar with a smile. "Yay! Auntie Mira, can you teach me to turn into a monster?" Luna asked with excitement. Mira giggled as she continued to wipe glasses. "I can try, if that's what you want." She said with a smile. "Yay!" Luna giggled. "Silver, do you want to learn to?" Luna asked with excitement. "Yeah! Wait, mom can I?" Silver asked, turning to juvia.

"Daddy and I will be going on this mission too, if auntie Mira doesn't mind teaching you it's fine with me." Juvia said, giving silver a hug. "Be good son." Gray said, placing his hand on silvers head. "Yes sir." Silver replied, as he and Luna ran to the bar to talk to Mira. "Bye everyone!" Lucy said cheerily as she waved goodbye. "Bye!" Everyone yelled. Lucy, jellal, Gray, juvia, natsu and Sylvia headed to their houses to pack for their mission.

"Jellal?" Lucy asked, sitting on their bed; her suitcase packed and ready beside her. "Yes dear?" He asked, placing the last of his clothing in his suitcase. "Do you think....we'll make it back?" Lucy asked. Jellal stopped, his hand still on his shirt as he looked to Lucy. "Of course we will. Gray, juvia, natsu and Sylvia will be with us." He said with a smile. Lucy didn't seem convinced, as she sat on the bed. Jellal sat beside her, hugging her close to him. "Luna will have both of her parents back." Jellal assured, as Lucy leaned her head on his shoulder.

Lucy, jellal, Gray, juvia, natsu and Sylvia met up at the train station an hour later. Natsu instantly began moaning of motion sickness. "I can help with that." Sylvia said motioning him to sit beside her. When he sat down beside her she whacked him in the stomach with her fist knocking him out. She smiled at Lucy and shrugged her shoulders. "Learned a thing or two from Erza." She giggled. Lucy, juvia and Sylvia chatted peacefully on the ride while gray and jellal took a nap. Juvia was just as worried about leaving silver as Lucy was leaving Luna.

"Don't worry juvia, the kids will be fine." Lucy said, hoping juvia didn't notice the hesitation in her voice. When the train finally arrived two towns over, Lucy gasped at the beauty of cranberry valley. "Wow!" The girls awed as they looked at all the beautifully colored flowers and trees surrounding the train station. "Oh, let's go there!" Natsu exclaimed, jumping up and down pointing to a food shop down the road. "Shouldn't we go to the hotel first natsu?" Gray said exhausted.

"Fine! You go to hotel, Sylvia come eat with me." He said, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the food shop. Sylvia waved goodbye as she was pulled down the street, a smile on her lips. "We'll meet up with them when we check in." Lucy said, as they headed towards the hotel. The clerk gave them their keys, and they headed to their rooms; depositing their bags they joined natsu and Sylvia for dinner.

After they finished enjoying their meal with laughter they headed back to the motel for the night. They each went to their respected rooms and turned in for the night. Hoping to get a good nights sleep before their fight with a dragon tomorrow.
