Chapter nineteen~ silver saves luna

Luna jerked awake with a start as lightning crossed the sky, lighting up the tent. "Ah!" She gasped, as she crawled to the tent entrance. She unzipped the zipper and peeled outside, noticing how the wind was bending the trees; the water droplets bigger than she's ever seen. "Guys, wake up!" Luna screamed, as the river began to overflow. "What's going on?" Silver asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "The storm is to strong, we have to get to the guild!" Luna said, cupping her hands to her mouth as the storm became louder.

They began to gather their things as quickly as possible. They rushed from the tent, only to be pushed back by the force of the wind. "Come on, this way!" Silver screamed over the storm, taking Luna's hand. Luna grabbed Rebecca's hand pulling her along with them. "Uncle natsu gonna be so mad!" Luna screamed. "We left his tent!" She said with a smirk. "He'll understand." Silver said, pushing forward.

At fairy tail with Lucy.

"We have to go get them!" Lucy exclaimed, her arms spread wide. "Our children are out there in that!" She said, worry lacing her voice as she looked to the window once more. Lightning lit the sky followed by the loud rumble of thunder. "Lucy, juvia and Laxus are already out there looking. They are the only ones who can go out in this weather." Mira said comfortingly. "I can't just sit here and do nothing!" Lucy cried. "Don't worry, juvia and Laxus will find them." Jellal assured, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Back with the kids.

Silver continued to pull Luna and Rebecca along as the storm continued to get worse. "Damnit!" He cursed, as the wind began to pick up. "Rebecca come on!" Luna said, pulling Rebecca closer. Luna pulled Rebecca forward, clasping her hand to silvers. She grabbed Rebecca's other hand taking the rear. "We can do this guys!" Luna shouted for encouragement. They continued to push onward, the storm becoming worse around them; the wind shifting the waves of the lake beside them.

"Can you hear that?" Silver asked, shouting. "Yeah." Luna responded. "It's...my mom." Silver said. "I can't hear anything!" Rebecca shouted. "Luna! Silver! Rebecca!" A mans voice shouted. "Laxus?!" Luna shouted, hoping he could hear. They began to head in the direction that they thought the voices were coming from.

"Were do you think they are?" Juvia asked Laxus. "Don't worry, we'll find them." Laxus said reassuringly. They forced their way through the rain and wind, towards were the kids had camped. Lightning flashed across the sky once more, lighting up the night. "There!" Juvia shouted, pointing through the trees. Laxus turned to see silver dragging Rebecca and Luna behind him. "I see them." He said, just as the wind began to pick up.

"Ahh!" Luna screamed, as the water began to wrap around her body; pulling her towards the lake. "Luna!" Rebecca yelled, as Luna's hand was pulled from hers. "Luna!" Silver yelled, when he turned to her. She was picked from the ground by the water, lifted into the air by a giant wave that was forming into a tornado. "What do we do?!" Rebecca yelled, fear in her voice. Luna was suddenly pulled into the vortex of water, disappearing from sight.

Juvia began to cry as she and Laxus rushed to the kids. "Damn!" Laxus cursed, knowing Lucy would kill them. "Silver!" Juvia cried when close enough. "Mom! We have to save Luna." He said desperately. "Juvia knows baby, Juvia knows." Juvia said through tears. "Help!" Luna's voice rang out from the vortex. "Luna! Luna!" They began to shout, looking for her. "I can't take this anymore!" Silver shouted, becoming desperate. "Luna! Ahhhhhh!" Silver yelled, as suddenly the vortex began to change.

Silver put his hands out before him, concentrating with everything he had. "Ahhhhh!" He screamed again, as the water began to form to his wish. "Laxus, control the lightning!" Juvia instructed, realizing her son was using magic for the first time. Laxus began to stifle the lightning around them, as juvia began to control the rain around them.

The water around Luna began to settle, bringing her closer to silver. He could see her inside the water, her eyes wide with fear. "I'm coming Luna!" Silver declared, stepping forward closer to the edge. The water began to come closer to silver, the thunder and lightning along with the horrific rain began to subside. Silver held out his hand, gently grasping Luna's hand in his. He pulled as she approached closer, wrapping his arms around her waist; hugging her close.

"Uh..guh...mmm" Luna cried into silvers shoulder, her body shaking from fear. "Shh. Shh. I got you, your safe now." Silver said, as he gently stroked her back. Lost in their moment, they were unaware of the sun beginning to shine; and the group of people rushing towards them. Lucy, jellal, Gray, natsu and Sylvia stopped in their tracks beside Laxus and juvia.

Lucy placed her hand to her heart, a smile on her face and tears in her eyes. She was so happy her little girl was safe, she felt Jellal wrap an arm around her waist. "Mommy! Daddy!" Luna screamed when seeing her parents, rushing to them with her arms open. Lucy squatted down to hug Luna as she jumped into her arms. She stood up so that Jellal could wrap his arms around them both. "I'm so glad your alright." Jellal said, kissing Luna's forehead. "We were so worried about you." Lucy said.

"It's okay, silver saved me." Luna said, a small blush on her cheeks. Silver puffed out his chest proudly as gray clapped him on the back. "Good job son, I'm proud of you." Gray said. Silver stood there shocked, he couldn't believe his dad had complimented him like that. "Thanks dad." Silver said. "Rebecca, are you okay?" Sylvia asked. "Your not hurt are you?" Natsu added. "No, I'm fine. Silver saved us." Rebecca said in awe. Silver stood there proudly as everyone complimented him and hugged him.

"Let's go back to the guild." Lucy said, setting Luna down and taking her hand. Jellal took Luna's other hand as they walked towards the guild. Gray placed silver on his shoulders, natsu not wanting to be outdone; placed Rebecca on his shoulders as well. They walked back to the guild happily, silver excited to get back to the guild to tell gis heroic story.
